Schedule — Block Rotations Each major area / subspecialty is broken into “blocks” that fellows rotate through
Roughly one week of call per block
Due to scheduling, some blocks may have two weeks of call — but ideally one week
As a first-year, fellows are predominantly on the floor teaching service, with ICU weeks weighted toward the back half of the year
