Remember—the FAFSA is FREE. Do not allow anyone to charge you for submission.

The 2023-24 FAFSA opens Oct. 1, 2022. You will use your 2021 tax information to complete it. File early for maximum awards. Through federal, state and university financial programs, a student may receive one or more different types of assistance to cover educational costs. UTC awards more than $100 million in financial aid to 75 percent of our student body. There are four basic types of financial aid for UTC students: scholarships, grants, loans and part-time employment. These are awarded individually or in combination, depending on the student’s financial need.
