Dear Biology, Geology and Environmental Science Alumni, Students and Friends! Welcome to the latest edition of our departmental newsletter—a special platform where we celebrate accomplishments and keep you informed about what’s happening within our programs. This newsletter aims to strengthen our connections by bringing a piece of the campus to you, wherever in the world you might be. In this edition, we cover various updates from the classroom, our faculty and our students. This year has brought changes to the University landscape with the widespread use of artificial intelligence (AI). In fact, a portion of
