Students leave the classroom behind to experience their education in nature
We had our first Rebelette and Dixie State Dance Team Reunion in October 2015, and we had a great turnout. Hundreds of past and present dancers attended and enjoyed reminiscing about their time here at Dixie. We also had a fantastic time with the reunion fashion show. How great it was to be with many of you! If you were unable to attend, we hope you can join us at the next reunion in a few years.
We have started the Rebelette Scholarship Endowment that will benefit the Dixie State Dance Team. Currently, the dance team receives very little scholarship assistance for our program. As many of you know, it can be challenging to continue without financial support. Our goal is to grow this endowment to $25,000 by the end of 2016, and we need your help. We encourage you to make a donation of any amount, as it will greatly benefit our current dancers who are in the same position you were in while attending Dixie.
Please donate to this worthy cause by going online to dixie.edu/giving and under “Please direct my gift to:” select “Other” and type “Rebelette Endowment” in the box. If you prefer to mail in a check, please make your checks payable to Dixie State University and send them to 225 S. University Ave, St. George, UT 84770, Attn: Alumni.
If you did not receive your invitation to the Rebelette Reunion, please be sure to update your information with us so you won’t miss the next one! This can be done on the alumni website at dixie.edu/alumni, then click on “Update Your Records” under the services menu, or you can call 435-652-7535.
Sincerely,
Kori Esplin Pat Roper DSU Dance Director Former Rebelette Advisor
