Transition to Campus Executive MBA | Quick guide for class days and campus resources

Class-Day Essentials •

Breakfast is available beginning at 7:30 a.m., with continental or hot options plus coffee, tea, espresso, juice, and milk.

Lunch is served from Noon -1 p.m. Use this time to connect with classmates. Please notify the EMBA office of dietary restrictions.

Guest Speaker Luncheons are scheduled as time allows and may include business leaders and EMBA alumni. Details will be shared by email.

Campus Spaces & Support

Communications

Classes: Dedicated EMBA classroom on the 3rd floor.

Meals and breaks: EMBA/Executive Education space on the 4th floor.

Check your UMail and Canvas frequently for program logistics and faculty messages.

Available spaces: 4th-floor conference and breakout rooms; bike locker and shower room by reservation.

Class listserv: emba-2028@lists.utah.edu. Use it to email the entire class.

Class-day technology support: 3rd-floor lobby, including printer access.

Office hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.; class days, 7 a.m.- 5 p.m.

A Slack invitation has been sent out. Please accept and use this for class connection, encouragement, opportunities, and life updates.

Parking •

Class days: Beginning Friday, August 28, park on level P2 of the Central Parking Garage (black pillars). Do not use stalls marked Reserved or Restricted; restrictions are enforced 24/7.

One weekday visit per week: Use your UNID as the waiver code in the Visitor Parking Lot by the Garff Building.

Parking issues: For class-day garage violations, contact the EMBA Team immediately. For other violations, contact Commuter Services at 801-581-6415 or UCSAppeals@umail.utah.edu.
