WELCOME CLASS OF 2027

Welcome to the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business Executive MBA Class of 2027! The Class of 2027 is comprised of individuals with superior academic records, significant accomplishments, and a diverse variety of professional backgrounds. The 21-month program will be both challenging and rewarding, and we hope you are as excited as we are about the opportunity ahead of you!

Required Events

New Student Onboarding Meeting: Due Within Two Weeks

Our goal is to provide the best support as you transition into student life and the EMBA program. Please schedule your one-on-one New Student Onboarding Meeting to receive dedicated support for your next steps in enrollment. You can access this link in the checklist below. This session is required for all students and should be completed within two weeks of paying your seat deposit. To prepare for your one-on-one session, please browse through the checklist in the following pages - any questions you may have will be addressed during your meeting.

Welcome Lunch & Orientation: Wednesday, July 9, 2025

This event is critical to a successful start in the EMBA program and will give you the opportunity to meet your fellow classmates, faculty, staff, and alumni of the program. At this on-campus event, you will also be given a welcome bag that contains your course materials and textbooks for your upcoming fall courses.

Intensive Week: August 11-15, 2025

This week-long off-site event is the foundation of your EMBA journey. You will jump into the material by completing two courses and immersing yourself with classmates while building team relationships that are essential to your growth in the program.
