Presenting Faculty | Matt Pecsok, Assistant Professor (Lecturer)
Matt Pecsok is an experienced educator and industry professional with over 25 years in information systems and Analytics. As a full-time faculty member, he teaches courses in data mining, statistics, and data engineering. Prior to academia, Matt worked as a senior software engineer in various organizations and served as the lead data scientist at the Utah Education Policy Center. He also held the role of senior technical product manager for artificial intelligence and geospatial analytics platforms at United Healthcare/Optum. In addition to his academic and industry roles, Matt has provided consulting services in AI/ML and statistics, helping organizations leverage cutting-edge technologies to solve complex problems.
The David Eccles School of Business enrolls about 6,000 students in its eight undergraduate majors, four MBAs, seven other specialized graduate programs, one Ph.D. program, and executive education curricula.
