Celebrating Six Years, Preparing for More Growth

San Antonio Auto Auction continued its pattern of nearly non-stop growth in 2016 as it celebrated its sixth year of operations in December.
The Walker family introduced the San Antonio Auto Auction in the fall of 2010.
After adding a sixth lane in 2015 as well as a second weekly sale day, auction owner Wade
Walker reports that the auction recently developed seven additional acres for consignment parking.
To kick o 2017, the Walker family announced another six-acre parcel is being developed for vehicle storage and fleet marshalling. It will also include new o ce space for the auction’s marshalling sta .
San Antonio Auto Auction runs between 950 and 1,000 vehicles every week, at sale events held every Tuesday and Thursday.
“We’re grateful for the success we’ve experienced since we opened our doors in San Antonio,


and are blessed to have a wonderful family that contributes so much to the atmosphere that our customers enjoy when they’re here at the auction,” Walker said.
“It sets San Antonio Auto Auction apart from the rest, and is vital to our accomplishments.”
Situated on 50 acres of rolling hills, the auction includes a 12,000 square foot o ce building and six-lane auction arena.
Since its opening, San Antonio has received rave reviews from customers who single out the facility for its friendliness, attention to detail and personal service.
The auction has full-
service detail, mechanic and body shops and is constantly improving its internet infrastructure to provide customers with more options when it comes to buying and selling vehicles, including AuctionEdge simulcast, SmartAuction and OVE.
The auction’s sister facility, Corpus Christi Auto Auction, has been in business since 1990. Their sales are held every Friday at 9:30 am, with GM Financial running units every other week.
