Embedded counselors are therapists who are conveniently located in your academic unit. By being “embedded” in your unit’s building with a private office, embedded counselors better understand your community’s needs, culture, academic rigor, and more.
You can count on their confidentiality — even though embedded counselors are located in your building, they don’t talk to your professors, chairs, or deans without your permission.
