Academic Advisement Beginning at orientation and continuing each semester, you will meet one-on-one with your degree program’s academic adviser. Your adviser will work closely with you to ensure timely completion of degree requirements while you explore experiential learning opportunities that enrich your academic journey.
Career Development Our career development advisers provide one-on-one guidance while encouraging you to take advantage of USC Annenberg’s exclusive job listings, job and internship fairs, networking events, corporate visits, “how-to” workshops, and alumni mentorship programs.

During the second year of the degree program at USC Annenberg, internships are required while concurrently completing coursework.
Journalism, Specialized Journalism, Specialized Journalism (Arts and Culture) Extensive hands-on training is offered in Annenberg Media outlets while concurrently completing coursework. Optional domestic internships may be offered in the summer after completing all coursework.
Public Diplomacy In the summer after the first year of the degree program, field study may be arranged.
Public Relations and Advertising Work or internships are encouraged while concurrently completing coursework.
