Graduate Student Services Academic Advising

Faculty Mentorship

Beginning at orientation and continuing each semester, you will meet one-on-one with your degree program’s academic advisor. Your advisor will work closely with you to ensure timely completion of degree requirements while you explore experiential learning opportunities that enrich your academic journey.

You will engage with our renowned faculty members in small group, one-on-one and classroom settings throughout your graduate studies. Our faculty will share their deep expertise and critical guidance as you work toward your professional goals.

Gain a competitive edge in the global workforce through Spring Break Career Immersions, which take you to cities that are hubs of culture, tech and media. Or, take an applied learning course that connects academic study with field reporting or collaborative projects for industry partners.

Our career development advisors provide one-on-one guidance while encouraging you to take advantage of USC Annenberg’s curated job listings, job and internship fairs, networking events, corporate visits, “how-to” workshops, and alumni mentorship programs.
