The video was recorded from the fifth workshop in a series of Workshops for Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) on updating educational programs. The workshop instructor, Dr. Silvia Elaluf-Calderwood from Florida International University (FIU), guided participants through the process of integrating the Telecommunication Networks Security course into their HEI curricula and discussed the core topics for the course laboratory work, and the utilization of instruments and platforms for students.
This workshop was useful for Ukrainian HEIs to update their educational programs, covering network architecture, cryptography, security protocols, and hands-on experience in identifying and mitigating security threats. This workshop also played a pivotal role in equipping instructors with the necessary knowledge and tools to educate cybersecurity students and enhance their skills in safeguarding critical infrastructure.
