The Girl Scout Impact: At Home & Around the World

Girl Scouts of the USA has 50 million members & alum worldwide.

USA Girl Scouts Overseas has 10,400+ members, representing more than 86 countries.

In the past year, over 1,600 USAGSO girls and volunteers participated in STEMinist programs, international camp experiences and global leadership retreats.

USAGSO Girl Scouts are more likely to become global changemakers, equipped to lead in diverse schools, communities and careers. Girl Scouts are are more likely to pursue college, advanced degrees and leadership careers.

80 percent of alums says Girl Scouts gave them the confidence to succeed. In fact, Girl Scouts are twice as likely to exhibit strong leadership skills compared to nonGirl Scouts.

USAGSO programs build resilience, confidence and cultural fluency in unique international contexts.

Girl Scouting buil skills like goal setti decision making, mo management, peo skills and busines ethics.

Volunteers with USAGSO receive specialized training and global networking opportunities.

Over one million girls have earned the Girl Scou Gold Award representing sustainable community impact

In 2025, 314 USAGSO Girl Scouts earned a Highest Award:
