New Moon Last night I saw a ring of smoke Float and circle and rise About the head of the slender moon Like the veil of a mourning bride.

Full Moon The moon was yellow and dusty tonight;

It scraped the brown pines as it came.

Now the gold is silver, the dust a shadow. The ghost of the sun is a dream . -Johnni e Adams.
