About US

Urban Supply began in 2013 as a Stellenbosch high school dream with bigger plans than the classroom could hold. We launched with CHPO sunglasses and watches, and before long our products were sitting on shelves across South Africa.

When we saw that proper sun protection was either boring or overpriced, we decided to do better. Our hats became the answer: affordable, stylish, and bold enough to carry the CANSA Seal. They remain the soul of our brand, joined over time by caps, sunglasses, wallets, umbrellas, and even hat clips. Everything we make is built on quality and function, with just enough attitude to keep it interesting. Along the way we have also introduced South Africans to global favourites like Puckator, Kapten and Son, CHPO, and Miquelrius.

Lightweight, breathable, and structured for all-day comfort, majority of our hats travels effortlessly thanks to their packable shape. Imara

The Imara is our classic series, built for everyday reliability and classic appeal. Each hat combines soft comfort with structured form and durable construction. How To:

1. 2. Use a soft measuring tape (or a string and ruler if you don’t have one).

Place the measuring tape just above your eyebrows and ears, where a hat would naturally sit.

Wrap the tape around the widest part of your head. Try to keep the tape snug but not tight.

Take note of the measurement in centimeters – this is your hat size.

If you’re between sizes, go up for comfort - especially for sun hats that you might wear all day.

My strong magnet holds your hat securely when it’s not on your head, clipping easily to your bag, belt, or golf cart. I’m stylish, practical, and built to last, so your hat is always close at hand.

Terms we use:

DTF (Direct To Film)

We offer DTF (Direct to Film) printing as a branding option. This method allows us to apply your custom logo or design in vibrant, full-colour detail directly onto the hat. Please note that DTF prints are permanent and not removable once applied. This option works well for bold, detailed branding and is suitable for most fabric surfaces.

Embroidery

We offer embroidery as a premium branding option. Your logo or design is stitched directly onto the hat for a high quality, long lasting finish. Please note that embroidery is a permanent application and cannot be removed once completed. It is ideal for clean, bold logos and adds a textured, professional look to your headwear.

Doming

We offer doming as a premium branding option. A dome is a metal-backed marker that attaches to a hidden magnet under the trim of the hat, making it easy to swap or update your logo whenever you like. By default, all domes are magnetic and interchangeable, but we can also glue them in place on request for a permanent finish.

Sublimation

We offer sublimation as a vibrant branding option. Your design is heat-infused directly into the fabric, creating a smooth, high-quality finish that won’t crack, peel, or fade. This method allows for full-colour detail and is ideal for bold, eye-catching logos or artwork.
