SPORTS DAY We are looking forward to welcoming you to Uppingham School Sports Day on Thursday 25 June. All events will take place on The Leicester Playing Fields. Please be advised that there is no seating around The Leicester, so you might wish to bring a deckchair or similar. Parking and map At the end of the document is our parking advice. There will be a minibus shuttle service running regularly between The Middle playing fields car park and the Uppingham School Sports Centre coach park from 08.30 – 13.00. Refreshments and toilet facilities Tea, coffee, water and cake will be served in the Uppingham School Sports Centre Hospitality Suite from 09.15 – 12.30. There are also toilet facilities in the USSC. Comfort during Sports Day Due to the heat, we have a very relaxed dress code. Please dress for coolness and comfort, bringing a hat, suncream, a full water bottle and a fan if required. There is additional shelter near the field events, and our portacabins, which are air conditioned, will be open for anyone needing to cool down.
