We could not have a photoshoot with Cookie this months Cover Model winner luckily, we did have her picture which we used in this issue, as soon as the lockdown is over, we will have a photoshoot with her and create a special edition for her. Innocent Bakithi Tshabalala, also known by his stage name Raphokage is a Hip-Hop artist/Song writer and a visionary. He was born in the East Rand in Tsakane Langaville Ext 1. He grew up there attending school in Qedusizi Primary and Langaville Secondary. He was raised by a single parent which was his mother. His mother died in 2005 when he was 9 years old. His mother was a security guard at Nelspruit Hospital in Katlegong, she was then shoot to death while on duty. His mother's tragic death left him depressed as a child having to lose his only parent at a tender age like that. To deal with pain and sorrow he found comfort in music. The more he continued listening to music and writing, he found a way to heal and he fell in love with music. In the year 2018 he recorded his first Mix tape titled " Hidden Colours " which features a Hip-Hop artist by the name Primo Blu on a song titled "Pick up the phone". The mix tape also consists of songs like Coal train, Rap saviour and Pull up to name a few. He worked with Golf Records Entertainment on the production of the mix tape. He has performed in many gigs around Gauteng and attended radio interviews and the fans are impressed with his style of music. His dream is to become one of the best Hip-Hop artists here in South Africa and to have his songs being played internationally. At the moment he shoot a music video for Coal Train and he is planning to shoot another one for Pick up the phone .The future is looking bright for this young Hip Hop artist. Biography Felicien Mukiza most commonly known as F_Detach was born in Makamba, Burundi. He relocated to South Africa in 2005 with his mother Mary, young brothers John and David and his young sisters Niyogi and Angie. Family joined the father who was already in South Africa.

After writing songs F_Detach started performing those songs at school events, not just the school that he was attending but neighboring schools as well. F_Detach was inspired by the responses he got from the crowds he performed for and started taking his music seriously because everywhere he performed, he left the crowd amazed.

In 2011 F_Detach joined a children’s choir known as ‘High Vocals ‘at the Living Word Pentecostal Church (LWPC) as it was the church he was attending. He grew in that choir and when he reached the age of 14 in 2015, he joined the youth choir (Revival Choir). When F_Detach joined the youth choir he felt the need to become someone more than just a singer in the choir, he started learning how to play the keyboard. After a few years of learning he became a musician in the church and started playing the keyboard for the children’s choir and carried on to learning how to play the guitar and the drums.

In Grade 10 F_Detach decided to change schools and joined Aloe High in 2018.After joining Aloe High he recorded his first single titled ‘Nail It’ (2019). The single become very popular at the school he was new at and was given the nickname “Robertson ain’t Spices “as those were part of the lyrics of the single. After seeing the single was successful he then went on and released another single titled “Pretend to love me” and the single became very successful and he was then invited to perform the single at the “Latitude” show in 2019 and at the “Stop it but I like it show” in 2020.

F_Detach developed the love for hip hop, Trap, Afro Pop and Trap soul when he started high school in 2016 at Maitland High. He joined a group of 7 boys at school who sat under a tree every interval and wrote songs and that’s how his passion for writing came along.

F_Detach has since then been motivated to take his music much more serious and he is now working on an EP of 8 to 10 songs scheduled to drop in May.

Keletso Andrew Maboee is a boy born and raised in Rustenburg, South Africa. Born in 1999 on the 16th of April. A person passionate about art as a context and concept. Raised in a born-again Christian family, his mother being ordained as a pastor. Keletso fell in love with music as an early age. Full names Tshepiso Innocent Ramakgoba, well known as his stage name ZiGi LowB a Hip-hop artist which plays a role of a rapper, singer and a song writer his also talented in playing drums and bass guitar but usually produces beat by using the bass guitar. Producer KEGO SM (SINGER, SONG WRITER) Kegomoditswe (Kego) Maname was born and bred in Kraalhoek in the North West Province. Having grown up in a proximity to different churches her love for music grew tremendously. Kego began her music career in school when she was 8 years of age. She is an intuitive singer, able to settle quickly on just the right way to approach a song. As an artist her music was drawn from a need to spread the word of God across multiple generations and communities. During my drinking and smoking days a few years back, me and my two friends went to fetch three ladies unfortunately one was unable to come, to cut a long story short, we had 12 large Amstels, 3bags of weed, 10 cigarettes and a night full of mischief. I was the only smoker, so I had the key to my friends house were we sat in his bedroom with our friend and the two ladies, from time to time I kept on going out to smoke alone outside, but I saw that this may make me Malala yedwa(the one who will sleep alone) so I rolled three joins and went out to smoke for the last time that night, after a few minutes the two ladies joined me outside. They asked me for 1 cigarette each I gave them, then they both started talking in deep voices like totally different people to those I met earlier, they started arguing about who is more powerful, the one lady said she was the great, great, great, great grandmother of the girl and the other lady replied I am the great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandmother of the girl making her 4 generations wiser, all this happened while I was smoking weed and I was half bake, the argued until they finished smoking the cigarettes the went back into the bedroom, I continued smoking two more joints and went back to the bedroom. When I got into the room the was sex everywhere two for two and I was the one for sorry, sloppy seconds were on my mind but then whole experience drained me, so I passed out. When I woke up the next day, I asked the ladies about what happened outside they told me they never went outside, I told them what happened they said I was drunk and high, one of them even said she was ready for me but I blacked out. 3 things a model will need to get modeling work.

1. Zcard - The model’s Z-card is a snapshot of the model’s portfolio, showing different looks and includes the models booking information and stats. 2. Portfolio - physical representation of the model, it shows what the model looks like, hair colour, eye colour, height etc, without a portfolio the model will not have a Z-card. 3. Model CV - As a model your portfolio is your “model CV’. It shows what work you have done before, your versatility as a model and different look and poses you can pull off. Your portfolio or CV is what sells your look to the industry. This is what clients will look at when they are considering booking you. Have you ever tried to get a job in the corporate world without first submitting your CV? Well the same goes for the modelling industry.

We Said 3 things just to emphasis on how important a portfolio is, we label it as two things. This is what an agency does for you, you are not under any agency, but you are looking for work and most photographers can create both for you at a price. We are not saying as a freelance model if you have these two things you are guaranteed to get a modelling job, but it is a step in the right direction.

Model Focus: Kea_Boka Kea_Boka is a 27year old Model/Actress from Diepkloof Soweto, she is a beautiful sister twin and has a handsome twin brother, she is a mother to a handsome boy, they are the motivation behind Kea_Bokaâ€™s not giving up personality. Kea_Bokaâ€™s raise began 2019 when she put everything into making her dreams a reality. She has worked with several Photographer (Lifestyle tours, Fotoman Photography just to mention a few) She was worked as a Photo model, she has also worked as a runway model and was part of a fashion show held at Silver Star Hotel. She has entered Photo Competition like our Cover Model competition were she was in the top 10 and the international Inked Magazine Cover girl competition were she was in the top 5.

Cookie is a young, experienced professional twerker, aspiring model and a student, When she was doing grade 7 she fell in love with twerking after seeing a video of a woman twerk and that day she started practicing, it was a little hard at first not having anyone to teach her, and having just one video at that time her family thought she was crazy, for a year she searched for videos and started getting in, then she stopped watching videos because she now had the basics of twerking and she wanted to be the best twerker in Msanzi so she practiced for years perfecting her own styles, perfecting her skill.

To this day her family does really understand what she is doing every time she is practicing, they say she has started but she loves was she does and she is good at it.

The highlight of the Event We came across Cookie at an Event which was we were supposed to do a full report on and due to some disagreements with the organisers we never did the report or entertained what happened and we will not right now. We will only write about Cookie who ended up being the show. Cookie performed twice and during our chat before her performance she mentioned that she can twerk for an hour none stop, honestly, I didn’t believe her, I mean I have seen women twerk before, I have never seen any twerker twerk for an hour straight and as much as I love watching women twerk I didn’t think I would want to watch that for an hour. We were all not ready for her performance, she was called on to the stage and from the outfit she was wearing Everyone wanted to see what she could do, everyone droped what they were doing to come watch Cookie twerk, she was amazing not only were the men entertained by her performance but women too, she twerked for 20mins and for 20mins everyone was focused on the stage including the stuff that was working at the venue.

After her performance the event was lit everyone was happy and enjoying but after 2hour people started living and let’s just say the event was now turning out not so fun/entertaining/enjoyable event, then Cookie came on stage again and saved the event, Some of the women watching her twerk were so impressed they started throwing Madiba notes on her and some guys as well, she was the main event, the highlight of the show, her second time on stage she performed for 36mins and convinced me that she could twerk for an hour straight and I can be entertained watching her twerk for an hour. Song Review: Yelp Proper Trap song, worth a listen, if you into trap, hopefully this will be jamming in clubs pretty soon, The are words I wish I could hear thou which I cant hear in the song but I figure it comes with the Trap genre, I feel WanyeeHogo played it Safe on this one by making the song so short.
