I was born in KwaZuluKwa and I started at school in 2004 I performed in kwaNongoma place the where the Zulu King Zwelithini DiniZulu was hosting an event, there was entertainment, that is where I started my first performance and I awarded best dancer. 2007 I moved to Mtubatuba where my principal Mrs Banda gave me an opportunity to show case myself at school by performing arts, I’ve helped the school get on another level as I was a leading dance team, I was able to make the school win awards and medals. 2008 I moved to Newcastle where I had to start a new life with new people, I went to School and tried to find out that if the is art but only to find that there is no art. Then my father took me to Johannesburg in 2009 to go to school there, Maponyane secondary school I found other guys who were doing art but in that area art was nothing to the people there, then I started playing soccer until 2016 where I began to record my music and dance for competition until 2017 where i started to join agents as an extra on Skeem samsam, The river, omama bomthandazo, daily thetha, thandeka's diary and rythm city.
2018 I joined a company called GRACE OF DESTINYDESTINY which deals with theatre, the company gave me an amazing platforms to perform at moses molelekwa art centre for 3 massive shows which are: MEOGO YA LESEGOLESEGO; THE CURSE and PIECES OF THE PASTPAST as a dancer and a musician. Then the company gave me an opportunity to perform at ARNOLD CLASSIC AFRICA 2018, ISHASHALAZI FESTIVAL,ZWAKALA and shoot the music video with cytoch global check mate – Jum. 2019 I worked with Maximum style record label, we shot a music video for gospel artist named Mammam'mam'thsidi knows as Mamzo. I was also given a platform to share a stage with a sony artist known as RAZZI RAZZ in motsepe foundation. Who is Animo?
Well ANIMO is a 22 year old rapper born and raised in northwest Mafikeng...then moved to joburg to further his studies which led him to discovering his talent in music. The word ANIMO is inspired by both my name and last name Anthony Mooketsi put together in one word. An-Anthony I- inbetween Mo-Mooketsi So basically my 1st name both last name together makes ANIMO. ANIMO makes music to uplift the youth that nothing is impossible as long as you believe and keep working hard it don't matter where you come from. Who or what inspired you to be a musician? I started rapping when I was a kid when I 1st heard I'm not afraid by Eminem from that day I started having interest in Hip Hop music.. Eminem has always been my inspiration. I believe our stories are kind of similar, our background, come up and everything...he’s one of the artist I look up to. What do you think it takes to make it in the music industry in South Africa? Simple just be real... Be you...don't try to fit in... Be creative, come up with something new/different, have your own style... Go out there and connect, make right friends and invest in your craft and value yourself because if you don't no one will.
First thing we notice when we see you is tattoos how many do you have and what do they represent? Haha I actually lost count... I'm not actually sure about the specific number of tats I have... All the tattoos on my body represent me, my past, my belief and everything I'm passionate about like music Because I also got a mic inked up on my arm. So basically I'm just telling a story on my body! Is tattoos part of the hip-hop culture? I wouldn't actually say they part of Hip Hop culture...tattoos are life reflects you as a person... But tattoos dominant in Hip Hop society... Whether yes or no can you name one rapper who doesn't have any? lol I don't think I know any rapper without a tattoo seems like the whole industry inked up.

What type of modeling do you do? Commercial and fashion modelling. Are you under any agency? No I'm just a freelancer....and I would love to keep it that way. Do you think you can make it in the modeling industry if you don't have an agency? I don't think so I know so. How was the photoshoot with Upcoming Mag? Adventurous....it wasn't just a shoot but a life lesson too. If you could choose another career besides modeling what would you choose? I would say law, because I love helping people. If you could change one thing in the modeling industry what would it be? Segregation between slim and thick models and let them know they all deserve to be models. What would you like people to know about you that people don't know? I do not give up on what l believe in.

ho is Tsheboneo? tsheboneo is a combination of my two names, Neo is my first name but I prefer being called by my second name Tsheboeng I am 22 years of age grew up in Pimville Soweto. I love being unique I'm not a commoner and I am a free spirited person and I love taking risks.
“I am a free spirited person and I love taking risks.� How did you start your modeling career? Started modeling 2016 I was helping my friend with her photography assignment so she asked me to be her model so that was the beginning then I started being approached by photographers wanting to work with me same year and my aim was to get a modeling agency which I did 2017 but at some point I had to leave it due to the fact that I was in Durban and it was based in Johannesburg Do you think it is possible to make it in the modeling industry without an agency? Some people say you can make it without agencies in the industry but I beg to differ reason being when you go to castings there will be a point where you have to indicate that you are from which agency and sometimes clients strictly want people to have agencies in order to make payments just have someone to represent you I would say you need agencies. Do you feel there are a lot of opportunities for models in South Africa, compared to other countries like France? Yes there are opportunities you just have to work hard and make sure that you stand out to attract clients to book you meaning you portfolio has to convince them.

What advice would you give a young woman who wants to be a model? My advice to young aspiring model is that always take risks in modeling try being diverse and be careful of scammers make sure you look for a proper or rather legit agency and make sure you research that agency to see it's legit or not.
Have you ever worked outside South Africa? I haven't worked outside SA but my aim is to work overseas hence I'm always pushing hard and putting pressure on myself.
Can you give us a step to step guide on how to make it into the modeling industry? In order to make it in the modeling world make sure that you take pictures put yourself out there, appropriate pictures of yourself or get a photographer to take pictures of you to create a portfolio then take that portfolio to agencies. Some agencies will reject you but there will be that one that likes your style
Between modeling and dancing which one do you love the most? I would pick modeling I love modeling and I am really passionate about what I do.

What kind of dancing do you do? I used to do Ballroom and Latin American dance still want to go back and continue with it I put dance on pause since I had to relocate 2017 and be in Durban.

For young girls in Uganda who want to be models but don't know where to start can you give them advise on how can they get into the modeling industry?
