WELCOME • We are the fastest-growing four-year university in Arkansas over the past five years, increasing more than 40 percent since 2014. • The first of its kind in the state, the Compass program puts iPad devices in the hands of every student and faculty member at Ozarks, allowing students to navigate the curriculum and drive their own educational experience through the use of technology in and out of the classroom. Compass increases accessibility for all and lets students engage, create and access content in a way that supports their personal learning style—transforming the learning experience at Ozarks. • We have reimagined our curriculum by incorporating the LENS Program. This allows students to have freedom in their academic pursuits by removing “basic” requirements and allowing them to take the courses that fuel their passions. This helps to ensure

not only that students graduate within four years, but that they are becoming more in-depth within their areas of academic interests. • Our Jones Learning Center (JLC) was the nation’s first program to provide comprehensive, enhanced services to college students with learning disabilities. Our low student-to-staff ratio ensures that JLC students with learning disabilities, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and autism spectrum disorder receive the personalized attention they need in order to successfully complete a college degree.
Application Process & Requirements NOMINATIONS: If your institution is a recognized exchange partner with University of the Ozarks, nominations must be submitted by your institution prior to starting your Ozarks application. Nominations should be sent by your institution via email to International Program Manager, Nicole England at nengland@ozarks.edu. Once nominations are received and approved, nominated students will receive an Ozarks Welcome email with information on how to start the admission process.
APPLICATION PROCESS: 1. FILL OUT THE APPLICATION at Ozarks.edu/apply. Completed applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants are typically notified of the admission decision within two weeks of the file being completed for review. 2. SEND TRANSCRIPTS Official transcripts – send from an electronic service directly from your home university Unofficial transcripts – must be in english and sent to admission@ozarks.edu 3. Study Abroad Students At Ozarks, study abroad students will have the opportunity to live on campus. All Ozarks residence halls feature a full slate of planned and impromptu activities designed to foster student engagement and build an authentic sense of community. Dining Student Meal Plan While living on campus you are expected to have a meal plan. Meal plans very based on where on campus the student lives. Meal plans provide students with meals to use at the campus Dining Hall as well as Declining Balance (DCB) that can be redeemed at Campus Perks or the Eagle’s Nest.

Ozarks Outdoors Ozarks Outdoors is committed to providing University of the Ozarks students of all backgrounds, skill levels, and interests the opportunity to explore and enjoy the local and regional natural resources of the Arkansas River Valley. Ozarks Outdoors plans and coordinates regular day trips and overnight campouts each semester, and helps provide students the tools needed to plan their own trips. Come explore the Ozarks Outdoors office, located in the Seay Student Center. A wide inventory of outdoors gear and equipment are available for use to all Ozarks students free of charge.
