The moment you step onto one of our Floating Boutique Hotels, you’ll feel it – that unmistakable sense of relaxed elegance, personalised service and effortless style that defines a Uniworld journey. Since our founding in 1976, we’ve had the privilege of taking curious, worldly travellers to some of the world’s most inspiring destinations. And as we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we continue to evolve, introducing new ships, new itineraries and refined ways to explore Europe in true Uniworld fashion.
NEW FOR 2026
We are delighted to debut the S.S. Emilie, an exquisite new Super ShipTM inspired by the art and elegance of Gustav Klimt and his muse, Emilie Flöge. Sailing the Danube, she will operate on a number of existing Uniworld itineraries as well as six brand-new journeys. These include new additions such as Vineyards & Palaces along the Danube, Capital Cities Along the Danube and Danube Grandeur with Prague, to name just a few.
LOOKING AHEAD TO 2027
Building on this momentum, 2027 will see three new Super Ships join the Uniworld fleet, including the striking S.S. Marlene. Inspired by the timeless glamour of Marlene Dietrich and carrying just 154 guests, she will be one of the most luxurious ships to sail through Europe. Additionally, we’re delighted to welcome the S.S. Audrey, sister ship to the S.S. Marlene and the S.S. Emilie. Taking inspiration from Audrey Hepburn, the brand-new build will pay homage to the star’s elegance. Expect beautiful onboard spaces inspired by Hepburn’s life and works, with elements of her iconic style imbued throughout. Both ships will sail the rivers of Europe – offering our guests truly unrivalled luxury on a range of new and existing itineraries. Full details of each itinerary these ships will be sailing can be found on our website.
Finally, joining them is the S.S. São Rafael, a chartered brother ship to the S.S. São Gabriel, expanding Uniworld’s ever popular Douro River voyages in Portugal. The name São Rafael is a nod to Portugal’s legacy of exploration and maritime history. In Vasco da Gama’s first voyage to India in 1497, São Gabriel served as the flagship, while São Rafael sailed alongside under the command of Paulo da Gama.
Following the exceptional success of our first partnership sailings, which sold out within weeks of launching, we are also thrilled to introduce two brand-new Uniworld & Seabourn combination cruises for 2027. Each pairs our iconic Venice itinerary with a different Seabourn voyage through the Mediterranean, Adriatic and Aegean. Released much further in advance due to high demand, availability for these 16-day journeys is expected to remain limited.
SPECTACULAR JOURNEYS OF THE WORLD COLLECTION
Finally, we’ve continued to enhance our renowned Spectacular Journeys of the World Collection, offering the finest luxury long-haul travel experiences. These itineraries combine the very best of river cruising with stays in exceptional hotels and small-group land experiences. More information can be found in our brochure, or alternatively on our website.
As we enter this milestone chapter, we look forward to welcoming you on board and sharing the joy, beauty and discovery of travelling the world the Uniworld way – in intimate spaces, with personalised service and in all-inclusive luxury.
Warmest regards,
& CEO
