APPLICATION DEADLINES

(Students admitted for fall 2023) UVM welcomes applications from students of diverse backgrounds. Through a holistic admissions review, we select students with potential for academic success who will contribute to our community. The rigor of an applicant’s academic program; grades; and trends in performance are considered. Essays, recommendations, and other evidence of each student’s life experience also assist our evaluation. Admission decisions are made without regard to family financial circumstances. *Test scores reflect applicants who submitted them. Applicants applying for Fall 2024 (through Fall 2026) are not required to submit standardized test scores.

All applicants are automatically considered for The Patrick Leahy Honors College. Approximately 7% of Fall 2023 applicants were invited into the Honors College. Honors College students make up about 10% of the incoming class.

Tuition will remain the same for academic year 2023/24; there has been no tuition increase at UVM since 2019.

UVM Promise allows admitted Vermont residents, whose parents’ adjusted gross income (AGI) is $60,000 or less, to pay zero tuition.

THE PATRICK LE AHY HONORS COLLEGE is a community of student scholars committed to the highest levels of intellectual inquiry. Students are automatically considered for admission when they apply to UVM. Selection is based on academic achievement.

35 ACCELERATED MASTER’S PROGRAMS reduce the cost and time commitment of an advanced degree in fields of study ranging from accountancy to computer science to public administration at UVM.
