LEAD AND BUILD COMMUNITIES THROUGH MINISTRY Our Master of Arts in Theological Studies (M.A.T.S.) develops your theological understanding to foster professional and spiritual growth for transformational impact in communities and public life. Our program develops empathy and understanding— skills that are essential to improving communication and connectivity in the world. This two-year degree program is for professionals who want to apply compassion and ethics to their vocations, but do not necessarily want to seek a formal path into religious leadership.

EXPAND YOUR INTERFAITH EDUCATION AT THE GTU SFTS is a founding member of the Graduate Theological Union (GTU), America’s largest consortium of interfaith and interdisciplinary religious thought, study, and practice from around the world. Students have access to classes and resources from institutions ranging from the Institute for Buddhist Studies to the University of California, Berkeley.
