Carly Rummerfield Sculpture This piece is about the dangers of nostalgia and reminiscing on the past. It may be comforting to sit in for a while, but the longer you stay, the more damage it can cause to your mind and prevent you from growing and moving forward with life. My goal for the initial feeling the person feels while inside is awe and wonder, however, the longer they stay inside, they become cramped, uncomfortable, and trapped.
