Planning your visit
Alongside your subject content, outlined in your event ticket, there are central activities such as accommodation tours, information fairs and presentations, detailed on pages 1-5. The table on the back cover can help you plan your day.
Visiting Exeter city centre
Exeter city centre is situated between the Streatham and St Luke’s campuses and is approximately a 15-minute walk from both sites. The Stagecoach 4/4A bus route connects both sites and stops on Exeter’s High Street. Exeter is a historic and vibrant city and we would recommend that you take the opportunity to visit the city centre if you have time during your visit. A number of local restaurants are offering a discount to our visitors.

Finding your way
Marked on the map indexes on pages 6-8 are the locations where you can purchase refreshments throughout the dayu. Water stations are available around our campuses, marked on the map indexes on pages 6-8. Please bring a refillable water bottle with you.

A free shuttle bus service service S will run between Streatham and St Lukeʼs campuses from 08:00-17:00. Buses will depart each location approximately every 20 minutes.

Shuttle bus between Exeter St David’s Train Station and St Luke’s Campus.
A free bus service S will run between Exeter St Davidʼs Train Station and St Lukeʼs Campus from 08:00-17:00. Buses will depart each location approximately every 20 minutes.

Some parts of the day are intended for students only and are clearly indicated on your subject specific itinerary. While students undertake these activities, parents and guests may wish to visit the Information Fairs (details on page 2), attend a tour (details on pages 4 and 5), or attend one of our general presentations (details on page 2).
Tuition fees, loans and bursaries are complex, head to the Funding and Finance stand at the Streatham Campus Information Fair to find out more (details about the fair on page 2).
We have two campuses in Exeter: Streatham and St Luke’s. Please check which campus your activities will take place on. The maps on pages 6-8 will help you find your way around. Accommodation The Accommodation Team can answer any questions you have on choosing and applying for university accommodation in Exeter.
During your visit you can also view 360° virtual tours of many of our residences (Forum Seminar Rooms 1 and 2), drop in to watch our 25 minute accommodation video (Forum Seminar Rooms 4 and 5, or Cross Keys), or join an accommodation tour (pre-booking is essential).
Admissions Admissions are responsible for processing applications for a place at the university. They can also respond to any questions about the admissions process including accepting your offer and confirming your results.

Estate Patrol We are committed to working with our students and colleagues to provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all. We work alongside local authorities and emergency service partners to provide safety and security advice, and conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols.
Exeter Cares The Exeter Cares Team is here to help undergraduate students who are; mature learners, care experienced, studying without parental support (estranged), asylum seekers or refugees, or who have caring responsibilities. Depending on eligibility, we offer financial support in the form of bursaries and scholarships. We also have dedicated Wellbeing Team members to support you with any aspects of your welfare whether you need it before you start, during your studies, or for a short time after you graduate.

Language Centre The Language Centre at the University of Exeter is a wonderful place to learn a language, whether for study, work or just for fun. We provide excellent teaching by suitably qualified and experienced professionals, so that learning a language is both enjoyable and rewarding.
Multifaith Chaplaincy The Multifaith Chaplains work together to serve the whole University community: students and staff, of all faiths and worldviews, whether religious or not. We provide a safe space to talk, and offer you a confidential and non-judgmental listening ear.
Pastoral Mentors Pastoral Mentors are your first point of contact for both academic and pastoral support. Embedded within departments, and separate from Wellbeing Services, they are here to help if you’re facing challenges that affect your ability to study or succeed in your programme. Drop in to Forum Seminar Room 3 during your visit to watch our short video.
Residence Life The Residence Life Team are part of Wellbeing services, here to support you living in university residences. They run events and trips for you to get to know other students and explore Exeter and the surrounding areas. They’ll help you settle in and feel at home in Exeter, with information about living in halls and support if you need it.
Sport Sport is an important part of life at Exeter. Currently sitting 4th in BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport), the University of Exeter offers one of the most extensive programmes in the UK for competitive university sport. We have 52 Sports Clubs that offer everything from social and beginner sport to supporting elite athletes in international pathways through our performance sport programme. We also run a timetable of Pitch Up and Play activities and most are free of charge!
Study Abroad (Global Opportunities)
Study Abroad offers the opportunity for students to study abroad for a semester or year as part of their degree at Exeter through a number of recognised schemes.
Sustainability We deliver events, activities and initiatives to promote sustainability, and develop policies and strategies to integrate sustainability into all university activities and procedures in our aim to reduce our carbon emissions and combat the climate and ecological crisis.
Wellbeing Wellbeing Services offer student-centered academic and mental health support to help you get the most from your university studies. This includes academic adjustments for students with disabilities and health conditions, emotional and mental health support services, and Education Welfare teams.

Tours of Streatham Campus (45-60mins)
You can take a self-guided walking tour of our beautiful Streatham Campus during your visit. Scan the code, or collect a map from the Information point in the Forum 3 to follow the numbered circular route. Please note, the Streatham Campus is approximately 300 acres and hilly.
Tours of St Luke’s Campus (30mins)
Join a guided tour of St Luke’s Campus from outside Info at St Luke’s, South Cloisters Building SL 11 . Tours will run from 09:00 until 15:30, no booking is required. Alternatively, scan the code to take a self-guided tour of the campus between your scheduled subject activities.
Sport
Sport is an important part of the Exeter experience, and we are justifiably proud of our sporting achievements over recent years, regularly being rated a top 5 sporting institution in the national BUCS league.

Tours of the Sports Park will run at 10:00, 12:00 and 14:00. Members of our Sports Department will show you key facilities at our Streatham Campus with the opportunity to ask questions along the route. The tours run subject to demand so there is no need to book.

You can book a tour to view some examples of the accommodation available to undergraduate students. Tours are taking place between 10:00 and 16:00. Pre-booking via your E-ticket is essential.
