Education is more than what you study […] it’s the journey as well. I found my current job through the end of year show where students exhibit their work.

My friends can’t believe I do architecture, it wasn’t really in my communities – it’s growing into a much more diverse industry but there’s still work to be done.

Thank you for visiting the University of East London.

We are delighted to welcome you to the careers-first university at such an exciting point in our journey.

Offer Holder Social Space

Starting university is exciting, and a little daunting. That’s why we’ve created the Offer Holder Social Space, a relaxed area at our Offer Holder Day where you can meet other students who are joining UEL this year and get a feel for what life as a UEL student is really like. This is a space where you can:

Meet other offer holders attending the day.

Chat with students on the same course as you.

Say hello in person to people you’ve been chatting to on UniBuddy.

Meet current UEL students and ask informal questions

Explore the student portals used by current students, with live demos from our student ambassadors

Our ambassadors will be on hand to show you how students use UEL’s online portals for things like timetables, learning materials, support services and campus life, and to share how they use them day to day.

You can drop in at any point during the day, there’s no schedule and no pressure. Whether you want to chat, watch a demo, or just take a break, you’re very welcome.

Human Bingo!

Human Bingo is a relaxed way to meet other offer holders during the day. Each square gives you a simple conversation starter, a quick hello is all it takes. It’s completely optional, no pressure, and a great way to connect with people who are starting their UEL journey with you.
