HANDS-ON TRAINING FROM YEAR ONE
From the first year, students develop professional skills through extensive practical training. More than 40% of classroom hours are dedicated to laboratory work and simulation-based learning in the Simulation Centre, with teaching delivered in small groups.

The School offers a dedicated professional development program designed to help students build the skills most valued by employers. Through workshops, training sessions, guest speakers, and a range of activities throughout the degree, students develop essential competencies such as leadership, self-awareness, time management, and empathy.

DEVELOPMENT PLAN
Around 50 activities are organized every year, including sessions and workshops, as part of a Personal and Professional Development Plan. This allows our 700 undergraduate students to develop skills, values, and attitudes that will help them in their future employment and personal development.
MENTORING
Personal academic advising is at the heart of the student experience at the University of Navarra. Each student is paired with a faculty mentor who provides individual guidance throughout the degree, helping them achieve their academic goals, explore their professional aspirations, integrate into university life, and support their personal growth. First-year students are introduced to their academic mentor before the academic year begins through a welcome letter sent to their home. This support is further enhanced by the PAMA Programme, a peer mentoring initiative in which senior students help guide first-year students, offering academic advice, practical support, and encouragement as they adapt to university life.

In 2010, the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition opened Spain's first Practical Pharmacy Classroom. In 2018, it became the first School of Pharmacy in the country to introduce an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for final-year students.

Diplomas International Pharmaceutical Certificate Reflecting the increasingly global nature of pharmacy, the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition offers the Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy with an International Pharmaceutical Certificate. The programme includes courses taught in English, study periods at partner universities and institutions abroad, and a range of international learning opportunities. Admission to the International Pharmaceutical Certificate is subject to specific entry requirements, including a minimum grade of 8/10 (or equivalent) in the penultimate year of secondary education and a B2 level of English. Students must also pass all courses each year to remain in the programme. Students also have the opportunity to take part in the International Pharmaceutical Certificate Summer School

HND + Clinical Nutrition The Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics + Diploma in Clinical Nutrition is a unique university program in Spain. It responds to current challenges in clinical practice. This innovative and practical pathway provides fundamental knowledge for working successfully in nutritional care in clinical and hospital settings.
↙ The Degree provides skills for developing a research profile, as well as tools focused on management in the food industry, sports nutrition advice and teaching.
This diploma, launched in collaboration with the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) and the National Sports Council, aims to prepare dietitians and nutritionists with a greater degree of specialization in sports nutrition so that they are able to advise athletes (elite or otherwise), coaches, doctors or sports organizations on improving sports performance.
