Universidad Torcuato Di Tella is a research university whose mission is to contribute to the advancement of knowledge, the pursuit of intellectual, scientific, and artistic excellence within a framework of freedom of expression, pluralism, and diversity of approaches. The Research Newsletter reflects the research activity of our Faculty. It includes publications, awards, research grants and fellowships received, as well as participation in national and international seminars and conferences. To disseminate the research conducted by our regular academic staff to an international audience, the Newsletter is published biannually in both Spanish and English. This newsletter is a joint effort of the Academic Secretariat of the University and the Research Support area of the Library. Each publication reflected in this newsletter contributes to updating our Digital Repository and to the collection of new books by Universidad Torcuato Di Tella authors published each semester.

Chehtman, Alejandro Member of the Long-Term Working Group at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research (ZiF), a five-year funded research initiative dedicated to the study of the regulation of armed conflicts in the twenty-first century.

Forster, Sergio Recipient of a third Erasmus+ mobility grant for the research project “Auto ¡Stop!” (2025). The grant supports the third edition (2026) of a series of international seminars and workshops involving academic exchange among students and faculty from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.

Navajas, Joaquín Winner of the TED Global Idea Search (Buenos Aires), an international competition designed to identify outstanding and inspiring ideas, support exceptional speakers, and provide the opportunity to compete for a place on the main TED stage. Recognition from the Society for Personality and Social Psychology for contributions to the application of scientific evidence in the design of public policy.
