Dear Medina Country Club Members, Happy New Year to all our wonderful Members and their families! I hope all of you had a happy and healthy Holiday season, and thank you to all that contributed the MCC Employee Holiday fund. Your generosity is appreciated by the entire staff here at the Club. 2025 was a great year and we are planning for 2026 to be even better! 2026 will be full of so many exciting events and moments. From continued construction of our world-class Clubhouse, our first full season with the Reversible and a full golf/social calendar, 2026 will not disappoint. Everything we do here at Medina C.C. is focused on our Membership and providing a world-class experience for you, your families, and your guests.

Medina saw wonderful Membership growth in 2025, and we fully expect that to continue into 2026. We always say that we have the best Membership and we mean it. From Members that have been here for 20+ years, to those that have recently joined, we are so thankful that you call Medina your Country Club home. We are excited for the bright future of our great Club and to continue to grow the Membership. I would like to recognize a few key staff Members that have recently joined our MCC team and a few that have been promoted. Brandon Stevens joined our team this past fall in the Executive Chef role and has done a phenomenal job. We would also like to welcome back Logan Cook as the Assistant

All have been and will continue to be key components of our wonderful leadership team here at Medina. Our people are our greatest asset and we are very fortunate to call them Partners. Around the Course Happy New Year, Medina Country Club Members! 2025 was an outstanding year for Golf Operations, and we’re excited to build on that momentum in 2026 as we continue enhancing the overall golf experience for you and your guests. We are thrilled to announce that Logan Cook will be returning to our team as our Assistant Golf Professional. Logan previously served as our Golf Intern in 2024 and has been a familiar face in the Golf Shop for several years. He has officially enrolled in the PGA Program, and I look forward to mentoring him as he begins his journey toward PGA Membership. Please join us in welcoming Logan back to Medina Country Club! 4
While outdoor golf may be behind us for the season, there are still excellent opportunities to stay sharp indoors. Our indoor golf facilities are among the best in the country and provide a great way to keep your game in shape during what promises to be a long and chilly winter. Be sure to check out our Men’s Moonlighter League on Wednesdays and Lilac Ladies on Thursday evenings—both are great ways to stay competitive and connected throughout the off-season.

Golf Simulators As temperatures dip, your game does not have to. Head to the Union Performance Centre to keep your swing sharp all season long. All Medina Country Club members, including Social Members, are welcome to reserve TrackMan simulator bays by the hour for dedicated practice, friendly rounds, or a little off season competition. Looking for something more playful? TrackMan also offers a variety of mini games that are perfect for kids or anyone in the mood for a fun twist on golf.

FEATURED MOMENT: ONE FOR THE BOOKS During our July Invitational, attendees were treated to an unforgettable moment when a shot from the balcony found the bottom of the cup during the Closest-to-the-Pin contest. A true hole-in-one in the most unexpected fashion, it was a moment of celebration that perfectly captured the fun and excitement of tournament weekend at Medina. 6

From the Course I would like to take this opportunity to give you an update on the maintenance projects that we are working on during these winter months. One big project is the completion of the Ryan Road pond and electrical service to ensure that we will be able to transfer the water from that new pond over to the golf course. We are close to finishing the entire project which will allow us to transfer water from our new pond over to the pond behind 10 green where our new pump house is located. Late in the year we were able to transfer water with the use of a generator, but starting in the spring of 2026 we will simply flip a switch and be able to transfer the water over to the course. This should be completed by the end of December or early January at the latest. Additionally, we purchased a few new items to help us pinpoint electrical irrigation issues, but the weather hasn't coopered as much as I would like. We are locating station wires with possible problems and then using a fault finder to pinpoint where the break in the wire is located. We are hoping to correct as many problems as possible before the spring arrives. Other items include necessary tree removal, flower bed maintenance, equipment maintenance and service, and moving all of our brush from the maintenance area to our burn site.

Around the Clubhouse Hello and Happy 2026 to all our members. I hope everyone had a safe and amazing Christmas and New Year. Here at the Club, we can’t wait to get started on what promises to be an awesome year. We are lining up the Social Calendar with lots of events from Wine Dinners, Game Nights and so much more. We will be starting the year out in the UPC and we will close the Clubhouse for some cleaning and improvements. If you need to get into the Clubhouse during this period, please just contact me and I will make sure to take care of your needs. I would like to take a moment and announce the promotion of Alec Paine to Bar Manager. I have watched Alec and his journey here at Medina CC and couldn’t be more excited for him. Alec’s knowledge and understanding of service and what it takes to keep everything running smooth is why I know he will do an unbelievable job. If you see Alec around the Club, please congratulate him on his promotion. As we move the Food and Beverage operation down to the UPC for winter, please know that dining reservations are highly recommended so we can better serve you and your families. You can log into the website and make dining reservations and check out what’s new on Chef Brandon’s amazing menu. We also will be launching our two brand new dining igloos. These igloos bring a new twist to dining here at MCC and we can’t wait to see everyone sharing this unique dining experience with us. I hope everyone is doing a great job of staying warm as we hit the peak of winter, but remember, what’s unique about Medina is you can hit the Simulators or indoor practice facility and enjoy using the Club all winter long. Chef's Corner To the Medina Country Club Membership, As the nights begin to cool off and the smell of pumpkin spice begins to taper away, we are reminded that fall is gradually coming to a halt until next year. I would like to thank the food and beverage team for all the tireless efforts to give our guest an exceptional experience. I would also like to thank the members for their support of all of our hospitality facilities. As we enter winter, it’s important to remember that fall may be over, but the season is not. We are doing our best to keep Medina Country Club a safe and fun-filled experience for everyone. Our team is working hard to plan events such as our Fish Frys, Valentine’s Day, Wine dinners, & hands on experiences for all ages in our upcoming cooking classes. Do not forget about our rotating weekly specials! We are also excited to roll out our new catering guides so reach out to us to help make your special days even more special! Birthday dinners, Showers, Weddings, Business Meetings, and any other event you may be hosting! Inside the Academy Wishing everyone a Happy New Year. The Jim Wise Golf Academy is ready to help you with your golfrelated new year’s resolutions! We have several winter – spring programs that are available for juniors, high schoolers, ladies, men, and couples. To find out more details, please visit our program page on the website. Also, in addition to private lessons, we have options for individuals to work on their game over the winter. We are offering Swing Evaluations, Short Game Evaluations, and Putting Evaluations. Swing Evaluation: Come to one of our scheduled sessions so we can video your swing. After a few days, you will receive a detailed analysis of your swing with suggested swing adjustments. Putting Evaluation: A 30-minute putting session using some of the best technology in the world. Instructors will evaluate the data and after a few days, meet with you to discuss our findings and develop a plan for you Short Game Evaluation: After a full evaluation of your chipping technique with the help of our Blast Golf Chipping Analyzer, we will give you a roadmap to improve your chipping.
