storylines: 1. Series History This is the second-ever meeting between these two teams ... the lone meeting was played at Hodges Stadium in 2018 with MTSU winning, 2-0 ... that was also the season opener ... head coach Eric Faulconer was an assistant coach on that team. 2. Scouting Report MTSU is coming off a 9-8-2 season in which it went 5-3 in Conference USA play ... head coach Aston Rhoden is in his 26th season at MTSU ... sophomore Kirstine Lykke is the lead returning goal scorer for MTSU ... she scored five a year ago. 3. Peruvian Prowess Ariana Munoz represented Peru in COPA America play this past summer ... she scored a goal in her international debut during a friendly against Mexico in late June ... she started each match of COPA America play. 4. Local Pipeline Head coach Eric Faulconer and staff continue to do a stellar job keeping talent local ... UNF has 15 Ospreys that are either from Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Fleming Island, St. Johns or Green Cove Springs. 5. Newcomers of Note UNF brings in 11 newcomers this season, including 10 true freshmen ... the Ospreys welcome a pair of four-year college transfers in graduate transfer Gabby Daly out of Notre Dame and sophomore Sophia Hayag
