- UNF will look to make it two out of three seasons opening their first two home games without a loss. - The second Big South opponent the Ospreys will face this season, as they faced USC Upstate in the season opener. - Luc Granitur was the first UNF player this season to put the ball in the back of the net with the help of Joaquin Acuna’s first assist of his career. - Angus Taylor leads the team in shots taken this season and is one of five Ospreys with multiple shots attempted. - Steven Barrier was the first freshman to touch the field for the Ospreys this year with 16 minutes of playing time in the home opener. - Herbie Steigelman and Ethan Ash are the only two players that have stayed on the pitch for all 180 minutes in the past two matches, along with goalkeeper Chema Preciado. - Preciado continues to impress with seven saves and 20 shots faced against College of Charleston last week.

Winthrop has started their season with a 1-1 record with a shutout victory against Coastal Carolina and a road loss to Queens (N.C.). The Eagles will have to play back-to-back ASUN opponents with their matchups against Queens and UNF. Last season, the Eagles went 3-13-1 with their three wins against Longwood, UNC Asheville and College of Charleston. Daniel Ridenhour will enter his eighth season as the head coach of Winthrop with a 28-75-7 career record. The most notable player from this Eagles squad is Ricardo Ferreira, who scored both goals in the season-opening win against Coastal Carolina on two shots total. His brother, Rodrigo, was one of the assists on his brace performance and is one of four players to have played all 180 minutes over the last two games.
