2. SCOUTING THE OPPONENT

Florida Gulf Coast holds a 4-2-2 overall record, along with a 1-1-1 ASUN record going into Friday night’s match. They will be coming off a 1-0 loss from this past weekend at Bellarmine and their one conference win occurred at home against Liberty. Outside of ASUN play, FGCU and UNF have had two similar opponents up until this point. The top scorer for the Eagles through eight games has been Davi Alves, who has three goals to his name with an assist as well. FGCU has four other goal scorers as well, as Aedon Kyra and Jovoney Brown, who played for the Ospreys last season, join Alves with two or more goals this season. Wyatt Kistner has also been a crucial part of this FGCU squad with 24 saves and only six goals allowed, which ranks top 25 in the nation, for an 80% save rate. The redshirt sophomore has posted three shutouts in front of the net with 74 total shots faced through eight games.
