DEAR BCH FAMILY,

I cannot believe it is already May. I want to extend my sincere appreciation for your outstanding contributions and continued commitment to the Brooks College of Health.

Thanks to your collective efforts, we raised nearly $440,000 on UNF Giving Day, ranking #4 in total donors and #2 in total dollars raised across campus—outperforming all other colleges.

This remarkable achievement reflects the generosity, pride, and dedication that define BCH.

ENROLLMENT GROWTH & PROGRAM UPDATES

Compared to Last Year

BCH Deans continued meetings with Program Directors and Directors/Chairs to review enrollment, retention, curriculum, and student success, ensuring programs are appropriately resourced and supported.

We are pleased to report strong momentum across the College. Most programs have met or exceeded enrollment goals, reflecting the success of targeted marketing and outreach efforts.

BCH graduate programs now account for nearly 44% of UNF’s total enrolled graduate credit hours, underscoring their critical role in university growth. We will continue to strategically expand graduate enrollment in alignment with UNF’s priorities.

Following a 7% increase in annual enrollments last year, enrolled credit hours are already up 9% in the first two weeks of the current enrollment period an encouraging indicator of continued growth.

BCH Faculty were also recognized during the Scholars Transforming Academic Research Symposium (STARS). STARS is a showcase of excellence in research, scholarship, and creative activity (RSCA) highlighting the work of faculty and staff across all disciplines within the University community.

BCH ALL COLLEGE MEETING AND AWARDS CEREMONY

The Brooks College of Health hosted its Spring All College Meeting, bringing faculty and staff together share updates and discuss key initiatives shaping the College’s future.

Leadership highlighted recent accomplishments, out upcoming priorities and encouraged open dialogue t strengthen transparency and collaboration.

The meeting reaffirmed our shared commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and student success.

The College also celebrated the 2026 BCH Faculty an Staff award winners during the meeting.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT

Fundraising priorities for FY2027 within the Brooks College of Health are focused on building a teaching simulation hospital, bringing more visibility to the Korey Stringer Institute, strengthening Equine Animal Assisted initiatives, and establishing four newly renovated teaching laboratories that support hands on, workforce ready learning.

In support of these efforts, BCH leaders continued engaging donors and prospective supporters, highlighting the College’s impact and sharing new initiatives that are shaping the future of health education in our community.

ENGAGING FUTURE OSPREYS

DuringApril’sAdmitted Ospreys Day, UNF welcomed studentsadmitted for Summer and Fall 2026. BCH hostedabreakoutsession showcasing academic programs andengaging with prospective students andfamilies,reaching approximately 200 attendees.
