Guidance for the Sustainability Challenge Undeb Bangor has been working hard to make relevant, and positive changes to promote a sustainable community. This award is designed to encourage our clubs, societies, and volunteering projects to make small, achievable changes to their running, to improve their social and environmental sustainability. We’re aware that many groups are already carrying out incredible work and this award gives them the opportunity to showcase and share this, so that we can all learn together. To us, sustainability is so much more than making environmental considerations. Alongside this, we work to create a sense of community among our groups. One that supports students’ wellbeing, that is welcoming and inclusive and achieves a higher impact through collaboration. In line with Sabbatical Officer priorities and our Sustainability SMART Plan (24-25), we’ve chosen 4 key sustainability areas for groups to focus on this year: 1.Purchases & Waste Awareness 2.Wellbeing 3.Community & Collaboration 4.Inclusivity, Equality, Diversity Keen to learn more about sustainability and global efforts?
