MEETINGS Attend the Board Meetings 4 times a year, to discuss matters related to legal, financial, strategic, and accountability aspects of Undeb Bangor.
LONG TERM PLANNING Overseeing the implementation of Undeb Bangor's Strategic Plan and continuously improving the organisation's services to the student community.
Play a crucial role in ensuring that all aspects of Undeb Bangor's work is legal, meeting regulatory requirements, and aligning with the organisation's charitable objectives (2010 Charities Act and the 1994 Education Act).
LOOKING AFTER THE NUMBERS
Ensure clear, transparent, and structured processes while managing organisational risk to achieve organisational goals. Identifying areas for development, creating change mechanisms, and supporting improvements to help Undeb Bangor thrive in a constantly evolving landscape, shaping the future of the student community and making a lasting impact.
OUR PURPOSE
You'll have the opportunity to recommend a draft annual budget, oversee financial reports and audits, and help ensure that Undeb Bangor remains financially stable and secure.
ACCOUNTABILITY As a trustee, you'll have the opportunity to manage, support, and appraise the Students' Union Director.
