How to apply

Our vibrant campus is on the SouthCoast of Massachuse s, just 15 minutes from the beach. Access to nearby cities is easy—we’re an hour or less from Boston and Providence, RI.

• Campus tours: These student-led walking tours of campus are the best way to see campus. You’ll visit the brand-new residence halls and dining facility, cross the quad to the library, and visit various academic buildings.

• Virtual tour: If you are too far away or can’t visit campus soon, view our 360 tour or video tour, led by an Admissions Counselor and Student Ambassador.

Residential first-year students live in our new residence and dining complex— Balsam and Spruce Halls. The complex includes computer lounges, maker spaces, performance practice areas, and classrooms, along with plenty of outdoor gathering space and seating.

Go Corsairs

The Corsairs have a long history of outstanding athletic performance. We compete in the NCAA Division III, and about 440 UMass Dartmouth students participate each year.

In addition to successes on the court and in the field, our student athletes excel in the classroom, graduating at a higher rate than non-athletes.

Other features include shared kitchens and free laundry (you heard that right!) monitored by a mobile app. Our students build new friendships with the Engagement Communities—clusters of students who share academic, social, or cultural interests. Can you bring your car to campus? Yes, you can.

Centrally located between Balsam & Spruce Halls is the Grove, an award-winning two-floor dining hall with seating for 800. One of several dining locations on campus, the Grove’s dining area is based around a marketplace concept, serving cuisine from around the world along with vegetarian and vegan options.
