DIGITAL CAPTURE PROJECT
Digital Capture Donors – 105 Filming Participants – 30 Hours of edited content – 60+ Opportunities – endless!
For years we have been aware of both the organizational needs and ministry opportunities that could be met by capturing Transforming Community content in order to create more accessible digital resources. This would not have been possible without the generosity of our donors, the participation of our alumni and the prayers of our community. There is not one group of people that can be elevated over another because all of it was needed – the money, the people and the prayers brought us through and thanks be to God! TRANSFORMING MOMENTS • Stepping out in faith with a lead gift — a donor gave $58,000 to get us started!

• We were filming in June, not exactly sure how we would pay our next invoice and when we returned to the office, there was an unexpected check that had been delivered! • Like loaves and fishes, God made whatever and whoever we had be enough for each film shoot • Our first Giving Tuesday campaign in support of Digital Capture Project brought in twice as much as we had hoped!
TRANSFORMING IMPACT “As my participation in TC17 was coming to a close, I received an invitation to participate in the Digital Capture Project. This grace enabled me to savor and deepen what I had learned and experienced in TC17. What I didn’t anticipate was the transforming impact my engagement with this project would have on my family of origin. Since the project was being filmed in Illinois, I made arrangements to stay with my sister who lives in a nearby suburb.
The topics we were exploring in the filming provided an extremely valuable resource for evening conversations and a deepening relationship with my sister. Ruth’s teaching opened the door to lengthy exchanges about the very different responses we had growing up together in a home marked by conflict. Behavioral patterns that had previously strained our relationship began to transition toward understanding and appreciation of our attempts at self-preservation.

Transforming Animation One expression of Ruth’s gifting is how she opens up biblical stories in a way that invites God to reveal truth to us in new and fresh ways. To supplement the video footage of her teaching, we have engaged a visual artist, Kreg Yingst, to bring these stories to life. Kreg’s medium is block printing & painting and he is collaborating with us to create a unique style of animation that can take these wood carved images and give them movement! www.kregyingst.com

NEW BOARD MEMBER IN 2023 “My experience in TC15 was deeply powerful in my spiritual journey. In fact, I have said on numerous occasions that it has provided me something that I desperately needed, even more than I realized. I wanted to serve on the board because I desired to experience discernment as part of a group of transforming leaders. I have found that not only is it challenging and fulfilling, but it is also formative in my journey.
