MEASURE FOR OUR CURTAINS To measure for our ready-made curtains, you’ll need to know your pole width and preferred curtain drop. You should also consider the gather required. Gather describes how much wider the curtains are than the pole, and creates the folds when hung.
MEASURING DROP When choosing your curtain drop, think about where the curtains will finish. Measure from the top of the curtain pole down to your chosen point. Sill length; sits just above the windowsill. Below sill; falls below the sill for added coverage. Floor length; finishes just above the floor. Our curtains come in three drop lengths: 1 37cm (54”), 182cm (72”) and 228cm (90”).

MEASURING WIDTH Measure the full width of your curtain pole (excluding any finials). If fitting a new pole, allow an additional 15–20cm each side, as this will help block light more effectively. When choosing your gather, curtains are typically 2x the pole width for a standard look, or up to 2.5x for a fuller finish.

HOW TO HANG Eyelet curtains are beginner-friendly and require minimal setup. To get started, lay the curtain flat and begin threading the rod through the eyelets, starting from the back of the curtain so the front faces out. Once threaded, use a step ladder (if needed) to lift and place the curtain onto the rod. Adjust the curtain spacing to ensure even folds and a neat drape – then you’re all set.
CARING FOR OUR CURTAINS Our new collection of curtains are all machine washable for easy maintenance, and made with techniques that significantly reduce the likelihood of fading in the wash. For a more polished look, iron or steam the face fabric only on a cool setting. Our fabrics vary, so always check the care label for instructions for each specific set of curtains.
