This past 2020 year highlighted by the Covid-19 pandemic was a challenging one for all of us. Our credit union’s primary responsibility was to ensure the safety of our employees, communicate with our membership while staying open for business and keeping our members’ assets safe and sound. This was quite an undertaking considering all the roadblocks facing us. For the most part our branches remained open with full service being offered. Our online services played a dominant role in customer care. We applied for and received grant funding for our small business members, religious common bond organizations and numerous community nonprofits. We adjusted and conducted our business differently. Our board of directors, supervisory / educational committee members and our management team utilized virtual meeting communicating tools throughout the year to report the day-to-day operations, respond to challenges, attend monthly board meetings and conduct strategic planning sessions. I would like to thank our team for staying true to our vision and mission especially during these critical times. With this unified and team approach, I can report to you that our UFCU has had another successful business year despite the pandemic that has devastated our country’s economy. The financial summary reports presented in the annual report support my claim. Основним завданням нашої кредитної спілки була безпека наших співробітників, спілкування з нашими членами, залишаючись відкритими для бізнесу та зберігаючи активи наших членів. Це було справжнім випробуванням, враховуючи всі перешкоди, що постали перед нами. Здебільшого наші філії залишались відкритими та пропонували повний спектр послуг. Наші онлайнсервіси відігравали домінуючу роль в обслуговуванні клієнтів. Ми подали заявку та отримали грантове фінансування для наших членів малого бізнесу, релігійних організацій та численних громадських некомерційних організацій. Ми відкоректували та провадили свій бізнес у відповідності з обставинами. 2020 was a year that confronted our country and the world with unprecedented health, social and economic challenges. However, our credit union has successfully met the challenges posed by the Covid-19 crisis. Our biggest accomplishment was keeping our employees and members safe, while continuing to provide essential financial services. We had to implement so many changes related to employee schedules, safety, social distancing, travel restrictions, disinfection, communication via virtual channels, establish processes and purchase equipment and software for staff working from home, and many others. UFCU managed to finish this extraordinary year with a healthy profit and significant asset growth. Not only that, the Credit Union has also been able to help its members to better cope with the fallout from the pandemic. In the past year, the credit union achieved and exceeded many important targets, including the ones set prior to the onset of the pandemic. Assets grew by 15.6%, the fastest pace in many years, fueled by increase in member deposits. We passed the $300 million asset milestone and finished the year with over $313 million in assets. Mortgage lending was very active as many people were taking advantage of historically low mortgage rates. Business lending continued to be strong as well, both in real estate and commercial vehicle areas. Our dedicated loan personnel issued 1,780 new loans totaling over $105 million. The net loan balances at the end of 2020 stood at $245 million. Faced with the trend of our membership moving to other states, we have implemented a new lending platform that allows real estate financing even in areas where we do not have branches. Combined with our online and mobile banking services and shared branches, we have a complete package of services to our members no matter where they live. When the pandemic started, our credit union was ready to assist 4 |
our members and our whole community during those difficult times. After providing 72 businesses and organizations with over $2.3 million in Small Business Administration Paycheck Protection (PPP) loans, we obtained $200,000 in FHLB grants for New York state based non-profits and distributed them to our member churches and organizations who experienced decrease in revenues due to COVID-19. We are continuing our participation in the PPP program in 2021 to assist our member businesses. During the most difficult time of the pandemic, UFCU management decided to waive loan late fees and insufficient funds fees for our members. We also offered loan payment deferral for borrowers affected by the economic downturn. In the fall of 2020 two of our branches celebrated milestone anniversaries – 1st anniversary of our Matthews, NC (Charlotte) branch, and 5th Anniversary of the Federal Way, WA (Seattle) branch, which moved to a new location in 2021 – we purchased our own building in Federal Way, WA. Even though we could not celebrate these events in person last year, we hope that we will be able to do so in the very near future! We know that challenges will continue to emerge during 2021, not least because the fight against the pandemic continues. But we had a strong start this year, as deposit and loan growth is continuing. Plans for 2021 include the Grand Opening of our Federal Way branch, expansion of mortgage lending to new states while improving our loan processes, and implementing a new customer service improvement initiative to meet your financial needs with the highest level of customized service. In conclusion, I want to thank our employees, especially our frontline staff that consistently worked at our open branches throughout the pandemic. Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving our members. I also want to thank our dedicated management team and volunteer Board of Directors and committees. Finally, our great appreciation goes to all of our members, for your loyalty and your business during these trying times.

2020 рік став роком, який поставив нашу країну та світ перед безпрецедентними проблемами в галузі охорони здоров’я, соціальній та економічній сферах. Однак наша кредитна спілка успішно справилася з викликами, пов'язаними з кризою Covid-19. Нашим найбільшим досягненням було те, що ми змогли захистити наших співробітників та членів від небезпек, повязаних з пандемією, продовжуючи надавати всі необхідні фінансові послуги. Нам довелося впровадити багато змін, що стосувалися графіків роботи працівників, безпеки, соціального дистанціювання, обмежень на поїздки, дезінфекції, спілкування за допомогою віртуальних каналів, встановлення нових процесів, придбання обладнання та програмного забезпечення для персоналу, що працює вдома, та багато інших змін. Спілці вдалося закінчити цей надзвичайний рік зі здоровим прибутком та значним зростанням активів. На додаток, кредитна спілка також змогла допомогти багатьом нашим членам краще впоратися з наслідками пандемії. За минулий рік кредитна спілка досягла та перевищила багато важливих цілей, включаючи ті, що були встановлені до настання пандемії. Активи зросли на 15,6% - найшвидшими темпами росту за багато років, що було зумовлено збільшенням депозитів членів. Ми подолали рубіж активів у 300 мільйонів доларів і закінчили рік з активами понад 313 мільйонів доларів. Іпотечне кредитування було дуже активним, оскільки багато людей користувалися історично низькими іпотечними ставками. Боротьба з пандемією триває, тому проблеми будуть продовжуватися і в 2021 році. Але кредитна спілка почала рік значним зростанням депозитів та позик. Наші плани на 2021 рік включають урочисте відкриття філії в Federal Way, розширення іпотечного кредитування в інших штатах, одночасно вдосконалюючи процеси видання кредитів, реалізацію нової ініціативи з покращення обслуговування членів для задоволення їх фінансових потреб на найвищому рівні. На закінчення я хотів подякувати нашим працівникам, особливо тим, які постійно працювали у наших філіях протягом усієї пандемії. Дякуємо за вашу наполегливу працю і відданість служінню нашим членам. As your Treasurer, I am happy to report that during one of the most difficult years in modern history UFCU closed out 2020 “the year of the pandemic” financially well positioned. Overall, the credit union size as measured by total assets increased to $313.4 million or 16%. Loan growth was exceptionally solid with net loan balances increasing by $3.5 million, a 1.5% increase over prior year. In addition, your credit union continues to make loans to your fellow members, totaling just over $244.0 million.

In 2020, UFCU served 22,550 members through online transactions, shared branching and in our 13 branches located throughout the country. UFCU continued to support our communities through lending of $17.6M in church loans and $26.6M in commercial loans. Church loans represented 7.2% and commercial loans represented 10.8% of our portfolio. Another leading contributor to our loan growth is the increase in the credit union’s mortgage loan portfolio. More and more consumers are choosing UFCU as their real estate lender. Real estate loans increased in 2020 by $6.8 million or 31.22% over the previous year.

Report from the Supervisory Committee DR. GEORGE HAJDUCZOK | CHAIR SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE
In September 2020, the Ukrainian Federal Credit Union (UFCU) Board appointed its supervisory committee for the coming year.
The board reappointed three regular past-committee members and the committee chair for another term. George Hajduczok was reappointed as chair, while Olga Bilokin, Vasiliy Gritsuta, and Rostislav Melnik continued their service to the committee. Despite this year’s Covid-19 pandemic and the various logistical challenges with social distancing and virtual communications, the committee held its own separate meetings as noted in the committee minutes, and met with the board throughout the year virtually. The plan of work was completed and all communications and prescribed written reports were posted to the secure UFCU Basecamp page to ensure that UFCU is in compliance with the Federal Credit Union Act, the rules and regulations of the NCUA, and UFCU’s own by-laws. The Supervisory Committee conducted a thorough and recurring set of audits throughout the past year that show the Credit Union currently is financially strong and well managed. The committee audit responsibilities included contracting with an Internal Auditor to establish an audit rotation of key areas and submitted reports on compliance requirements for the Credit Union. The results of the Bank Secrecy Act audit and a number of other audits were reviewed as positive for both our internal and external network controls and information security. The committee continued the contract with the internal auditor, which was approved in December 2020. The continuing internal audit review process has provided management and the board with significant feedback about the policies and procedures in place to maintain our member security. A professional auditing firm, Bonadio & Co. LLP, served as an external auditor to review UFCU’s financial statements for the year ending 2020. The Credit Union received an unqualified opinion statement from the external auditors in March 2020, and the committee was provided a statement that the yearly verification of member accounts had been performed. The recommendations of the yearly audit were formally submitted to UFCU management, and the committee followed up with management for responses to the recommendations stated in the audit. The results of that audit stated 10 |
that the overall quality of the Credit Union’s financial reporting was presented fairly in all material respects and conformed to the accounting principles generally accepted (GAAP) in the United States of America. The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) is the independent federal agency that insures deposits at federally insured credit unions and protects the members who own credit unions and regulates federal credit unions. The NCUA did not audit the Credit Union this past year based on the specific recommendations made by the NCUA in light of its 2019 audit. In addition to reviewing all the professional audits, the Supervisory Committee also conducted quarterly closed accounts reviews in conjunction with COO Tanya Dashkevich. The committee has maintained open lines of communication to resolve member concerns and correspondences through a separate mailing address and a published member-contact, online address. The committee again was able to fulfill the assigned fiduciary responsibilities in a timely fashion, and is giving its full support to the current board and management. The Supervisory Committee stands ready to aid in the resolution of any member inquiries that may arise during the 2021 calendar year with the hope that operations will once again return to some vestige of normalcy as the Covid-19 pandemic comes to an end.

Report from the Community Relations Committee BOHDAN ZAKHARCHYSHYN & YAROSLAV FATYAK | COMMITTEE CO-CHAIRS
The Community Relations Committee in the reporting period of 2020 followed all the rules and criteria approved by the Board of Directors of our Credit Union. Thanks to the work of our Executive and Management Teams, the Credit Union has grown and improved the security and reliability of its services to members. 2020 marked a new chapter in the history of the Ukrainian Federal Credit Union – the 5th anniversary of our branch in Federal Way, Washington and the 1st anniversary of our branch in Charlotte, North Carolina. An important part of our cooperative family were and are communities and community organizations. The growth of our Credit Union’s membership depends on cooperation with them.
Thanks to the timely initiative taken by the Executive Team, the Credit Union secured a $200,000 FHLBNY grant intended for non-profit organizations in New York. 47 community, religious, educational, youth, and sports organizations as well as associations in the Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, and Albany neighborhoods received significant and much-needed financial assistance.
Advisory committees, whose members represent local community, cultural, and religious organizations, are established in areas in which our branches operate. Thanks to the advisory committees the Board of Directors and Executive Team are more informed about the lives and needs of the community. Members of the advisory committees have access to an Internet-based platform associated with the Credit Union. Using this Internet-based platform, our volunteers in each respective community gather more information about our activities, and can effectively provide feedback and recommendations in order to improve the work of the branch.
In light of the pandemic the Community Relations Committee worked to find new methods and ways to communicate with local organizations.
2020 was a year of challenges and trials for all of humanity on Earth. COVID-19 negatively impacted the development of the economy and radically changed community life. Today it’s impossible to name any aspect of public life that was not affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Religious, youth, sports, and community organizations were faced with the need to revise the agenda of their daily work. They were forced to cancel their events and programs, abandon many plans, and start developing strategies to deal with crisis.
In December 2020 our branch in Charlotte, North Carolina hosted a Consul visit by the Consulate General of Ukraine in Washington D.C.
Realizing the importance of financial support for community organizations during this difficult time, the Credit Union identified an opportunity to positively address the question of how to provide assistance.

During the reporting period, the Community Relations Committee systematically reviewed and submitted all requests for financial assistance from non-profit organizations for approval to the Board of Directors. Significant community support was provided from the marketing and advertising budget.
During the reporting period the Community Relations Committee continued to work together with Ukrainian diplomats in the U.S. to benefit the members of our cooperative family. While complying with all CDC guidelines and requirements we organized two Consul visits in Rochester by the Consulate General of Ukraine in New York.
Through our activities as a committee we worked closely and found common ground with the Board of Directors, Executive Team, and employees of the Credit Union. We are especially grateful for the cooperation of all volunteers, members of the Advisory Committees of all our branches in the community. Thank you to all members of our Credit Union for trusting us. In today’s uncertain times the actions of the Community Relations Committee are aimed at improving the image of our Credit Union, increasing membership and assets.

Комітет Зв‘язків з Громадою в звітному періоді 2020 року в своїй роботі дотримувався всіх правил і критеріїв , які були затверджені Радою Директорів нашої Кредитної Спілки. Завдяки успішній праці Дирекції та Менеджменту наша Кредитна Спілка пройшла ще один етап зростання безпеки та надійності обслуговування членства. 2020 рік вписав нову сторінку в історію Української Федеральної Кредитної Спілки - 5-річний ювілей існування філії в Federal Way штат Вашінгтон, та перша річниця філії в Charlotte штат Північна Кароліна. Важливою частиною нашої Великої Кооперативної Родини були і є громади і громадські організації. Саме від співпраці з ними залежить ріст членства нашої Спілки та її майбутнє. На місцях, де працюють філії нашої Кредитної Спілки, створені дорадчі комітети, члени яких представляють місцеві громадські, культурні і релігійні організації. Завдяки дорадчим комітетам, Дирекція і Менеджмент більше інформовані про життя і потреби громад. Члени дорадчих комітетів мають доступ до окремої сторінки на Інтернет-ресурсі нашої спілки. Користуючись цим ресурсом, наші волонтери, які працюють на місцях, отримують більше інформації про нашу діяльність, можуть оперативніше подавати свої зауваження та пропозиції щодо покращення роботи філій. 2020 рік став роком викликів і випробувань для всього людства на планеті. Вірус Covid-19 негативно вплинув на розвиток економіки, докорінно змінив суспільне та громадське життя. Сьогодні не можна назвати жодної сфери суспільного життя, яка б не зазнала впливу короно вірусної пандемії. Релігійні, молодіжні, спортивні, громадські організації на місцях опинилися перед необхідністю перегляду порядку денного їхньої роботи. Вони змушені були скасовувати свої події і програми, відмовлятися від багатьох планів, починати будувати антикризові стратегії. Розуміючи важливість фінансової підтримки громадських організацій в цей важкий для них час, Кредитна спілка знаходила можливість для позитивного вирішення питань про надання допомоги.
В звітному періоді Комітетом Зв‘язків з Громадою систематично розглядались і представлялись на затвердження Дирекцією всі прохання про надання фінансової допомоги, які надходили від місцевих неприбуткових організацій. Вагомою підтримкою громад було виділення коштів з бюджету маркетингу і реклами. Завдяки своєчасним і професійним діям Менеджменту Кредитної спілки у 2020 році для потреб неприбуткових організацій штату Нью-Йорк було одержано грант FHLB банку в розмірі 200 тисяч доларів. 47 громадських, релігійних, освітніх, молодіжних, спортивних організацій і об‘єднань околиць Рочестер, Бафало, Сиракюз і Олбані отримали відчутню і таку необхідну фінансову допомогу. В умовах пандемії Комітет зв‘язків з Громадою працював над пошуками нових методів і шляхів комунікацій з громадськими організаціями на місцях. Комітет зв‘язків з Громадою в звітньому періоді продовжував програму співпраці Кредитної Спілки з Дипломатичними Представництвами Украіни в США на благо членства нашої Кооперативної Родини. При дотриманні всіх санітарних вимог і правил було організовано в місті Рочестер два рази Виїзні Консульські обслуговування наших громадян Генеральним Консульством Украіни, що розташоване в Нью-йорку. Також в грудні 2020 року в приміщенні нашої філії в Charlotte, Північна Кароліна, було проведено Виїзне Консульське обслуговування громадян Департаментом Консульської Служби Посольства Украіни в Вашінгтоні. В своїй діяльності наш комітет тісно співпрацював і знаходив порозуміння з Дирекцією, Менеджментом та працівниками Кредитної Спілки. Складаємо особливу подяку за співпрацю всім волонтерам, членам дорадчих Комітетів всіх наших філій на місцях. Дякуємо всім членам нашої Кредитної Спілки за довіру до нас. В сьогоднішніх непростих умовах діяльність Комітету Зв‘язків з Громадою спрямована на покращення іміджу нашої Кредитної Спілки, росту членства і активів.

Report from the Ukrainian-American Community Foundation DR. EVHEN LYLAK | PRESIDENT
Over the past ten years (2010 – 2020), the Ukrainian-American Community Foundation, Inc. awarded almost $150,000 in undergraduate and graduate scholarships.
Additionally, the UAC Foundation donated $136,000 to a variety of community, cultural, humanitarian, and educational initiatives. In February 2020, the UAC Foundation sponsored a community meeting and book signing (Why Soldiers Miss War) with conflict journalist Nolan Peterson at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Webster, NY and in December 2020, the UAC Foundation was recognized as one of the sponsors for “Ukraine in Washington DC” virtual conference organized by the USUkraine Foundation. UAC Foundation continues to support our wider commitment to foster Ukrainian cultural awareness here in the United States as well as in Ukraine. In 2020, thanks to the direct funding of Ukrainian FCU and additional generous support from individual community donors, such as Dr. Christine Hoshowsky, Walter Denysenko, Samopomich-Self-Reliance Association of Rochester, Ukrainian Civic Center, Rochester Ukrainian Group, Wasyl and Anna Kornylo, Connie DiNicola and Ken Harzynski, owners of EZ Income Tax Service, LLC. $27,250 was awarded in scholarships and stipends to undergraduate and graduate students. The 2020 UFCU Undergraduate Scholarship recipients were: Talia Cholach, Taras Dushuk, Ivan Farmiga, Catherine Gluszko, Susan Gontar, Yaroslav Khalitov, Mariana Khrushch, Alexander Komarynskyj, Edward Nazarko, Janet Nolan, Mira Olma, Sonia Pavlovych, Sophia Polivoda, Kasym Qazi, Uliana Sikhovska, Jessica Tabachuk, Michael Tebyrtse, Anya Wansha. Daniel Pitolaj was awarded the EZ Income Tax-Kornylo Scholarship, Uriy Grabovyy was awarded the Roman Kucil Memorial Scholarship, and Lara Stecewycz received the Ukrainian Civic Center Scholarship. In 2020, UAC Foundation provided donations to: InterVol, Irondequoit Public Library, PLAST - Ukrainian Scouting Organization, ROC Maidan at Ukrainian Cultural Center of Rochester, NY, Ukrainian Catholic Education Foundation, Ukrainian Free University Foundation, Ukrainian World Congress (USA Foundation) and the United Ukrainian American Relief Committee. The UAC Foundation, Inc. looks forward to continuing its mission of serving as a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable institution for the Ukrainian Federal Credit Union for many years to come. Serving on the UAC Foundation Board of Directors in 2020 were: Evhen Lylak - President, Barbara Gutierrez - 1st Vice-President, Wasyl Kornylo - 2nd Vice-President, Tamara Denysenko - Treasurer, and Galina Dyakiv - Secretary. Mirko’s love for our Ukrainian Federal Credit Union was never ending, as he role modeled true volunteerism. He spent over 40 years promoting our credit union values and building bridges to better community relationships. It is with deep sadness and disbelief that I must acknowledge and report on the loss of a true dedicated credit union and community leader, Wolodymyr (Mirko) Pylyshenko, who passed away on February 8, 2021 after contracting Covid-19.

Volunteer Mirko's many lifetime accomplishments will remain embedded in the numerous organizations, friends and colleagues which he has impacted. Many have spoken that the Mirko “touch” was the catalyst that propelled our credit union to the status that we hold today. He was a crusader and innovator to membership growth and credit union success. He facilitated many town hall private sessions where positive outcomes benefited our credit union and its membership. A true dedicated professional, he was one who found time to mentor and coach the many who sought him out for advice. I was truly FORTUNATE TO BE IN THE SPHERE of his KNOWLEDGE and to have the opportunity to listen to and learn from his wisdom. He was an artist in life in every sense of the word, touching all of us with his paintings, drawings, sculptures, essays, and humor. He was larger than life and lived each day with passion, energy, curiosity and purpose. Mirko employed lively conversations, poetry, art and song and had a calling in serving others. He was often the orator at social gatherings, educating and entertaining the listeners. He led humanitarian actions to support political prisoners, refugees and imprisoned writers.While he was a professor at SUNY Brockport, he and his wife Irma, also a professor at the college, hosted numerous Ukrainian singers, artists, dancers, political activists and dissidents and invited members of the local community to participate in the entertainment and discussions at these events.
Mirko was so proud of our credit union achievements and growth. He always stood there praising the many successes, but seldom took the credit for his efforts in the achievements. He never showed any selfishness, arrogance, or

As an educator, he worked daily to inform and motivate everyone around him to be their best, perennially supporting all brothers and sisters, and funding numerous charities to build better futures for our communities. Unity was a common theme with Wolodymyr as he encouraged all political, religious and ethnic communities to open democratic dialogues. As a past President and Chairman of our credit union, he most certainly led the team by living the values that we represent today: caring for and helping one another. His open communication skills built bridges between our diverse memberships.

We mourn the loss of our living asset, Mirko, but his legacy will be preserved in memory of the gifts he left behind for his family, colleagues, friends and community. Remembering Wolodymyr Pylyshenko 1934-2021 ВАСИЛЬ КОРНИЛО
З глибоким сумом я змушений повідомити про втрату справжнього, відданого кредитній спілці члена та лідера громади Володимира (Мірка) Пилишенка. Як і багато інших людей, він став жертвою міжнародної кризи в галузі охорони здоров’я. Після зараження Covid-19 він був госпіталізований і помер 8 лютого 2021 року. Любов Мірка до нашої Української Федеральної кредитної спілки ніколи не припинялася, оскільки він був справжнім волонтером. Понад 40 років він пропагував цінності нашої кредитної спілки та будував мости для покращення відносин у громаді. Його численні життєві досягнення залишатимуться вкарбованими в численні організації, в життя друзів та колег, на яких він мав великий вплив. Багато хто говорив, що «дотик» Мірка був каталізатором, який підштовхнув нашу кредитну спілку до сьогоднішнього статусу. Він був хрестоносцем та новатором для зростання членства та успіху кредитних спілок. Він сприяв проведенню багатьох зустрічей та зборів, де позитивні результати приносили користь нашій кредитній спілці та її членам. Справжній відданий професіонал, він знаходив час бути наставником і вчителем тих, хто шукав його поради. Для мене було справжнім щастям бути в його оточенні і мати можливість слухати його та вчитися мудрості.

Моя перша зустріч з Мірком Пилишенком відбулася навесні 2017-го. У складі групи Open World я прибув до Рочестера знайомитись з американським досвідом роботи з ветеранами. Це був День вишиванки. Після служби Божої українська громада Рочестера зібралася у великій залі на території церкви. Мірко був представлений нам з особливою повагою. Було помітно, що ця людина користується неабияким авторитетом в громаді. Ми довго розмовляли про його життя, життя української громади за кордоном і звичайно Україну. Іншого дня були відвідини його знаної бібліотеки. Коли Мірко вів нас вздовж полиць з книгами, звертаючи увагу на рідкісні, дорогі його серцю видання, він нагадував мені мого дідуся Івана. Можливо для Мірко книги були теж чимось подібним до дерев. Принаймні, вони точно допомагали йому дихати.

Того ж року, повернувшись до України, я отримав від Мірка чималий пакунок рідкісних і важливих видань. Благодійний фонд сім’ї Пилишенко зробив значний внесок в організацію приїзду делегації українських ветеранів на вкрай важливий, для України, захід: «Герої свободи – поглиблення психологічної допомоги, стійкості та громадянської активності українських ветеранів», який відбувся в Центрі відвідувачів Капітолію. Дякую Богу, що подарував мені зустріч з цією мудрою, щирою у своїх прагненнях і вчинках Людиною! Спочивай з Миром дорогий Друже! Notice 2021 Annual Member Meeting and Election of Ukrainian FCU Board of Directors Thursday September 23, 2021, 5:00 pm St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 940 East Ridge Rd, Rochester, New York.
The election of directors to the board will take place in compliance with NCUA bylaws Article V, Section A4. The Chairman of the Board of Directors has appointed a nominating committee. There are two (2) vacancies for the board of directors, which must be filled for 2021. The nominating committee has nominated one member for each vacancy. These nominations have been filed with the Secretary of the credit union by Friday, June 25, 2021. Nominations will also be accepted by petition signed by one percent (1%) of the membership, or two hundred twenty six (226) members. To be effective, the petition has to be accompanied by a statement of qualifications, biographical data, photograph and a signed certificate from the nominees stating that they are agreeable to the nomination and will serve if elected to office. The closing date for receiving any nominations by petition is August 14, 2021. Nominations must be filed with the Secretary of the credit union, Eugene Lylak, at 824 East Ridge Rd., Rochester, NY 14621. Nominations will be posted in each credit union office thirty-five (35) days prior to the annual meeting. Elections will not be conducted by mail ballot and there will be no nominations from the floor if only one nominee for each position was submitted. In the event there is more than one nominee for any position to be filled, voting instructions will be provided to all members eligible to vote.
