How do you actually stay up to date on everything that’s going on?
If you want to go out, create something, or attend something, where do you look?
Before you lies the first edition of Eindless Jong, compiled by a brand-new team of young editors and imaginative creators from the Brainport region. So, not only the Eindhoven Uitagenda alongside familiar voices: Mathilde, Loubna, Claire with Zachte Landing, Ineke with Burst Your Bubble, and ‘the’ interview by Ailén; students from the Media Design personal learning track (Ä6) at SintLucas also headed out with camera, sketchbook, and pen. In search of culture in Eindhoven, what did they hope to find?
Luce and Sylvester designed their own logo, Ilse and Naomi provided the Uitagenda with tips, and the entire Ä6 team took over several pages. In Made in Eindhoven and surroundings. Pleun and Frank profiled a former student, and Kris quickly tested her recipe for Wereldsmaken & Tradities before the final editing: banana bread is a favourite among students.
The Ä6 Takeover pages show what young people like to see in Eindless: book recommendations, a playlist, DIY ideas, styling trends, and poetry. Also, check Instagram for all these tips and trends.
The co-operation also led to the new section: Seen? Small classifieds from the city. For when you run into someone you can’t get out of your head. On the train. At a concert. On the escalator in the city centre. Do you also want to place a real-life personal ad? This is just the beginning. In June, the Ä6 Takeover team will shape an entire edition even further themselves. Youth matters, and a city only truly comes alive when new voices are heard.
Will it catch on? We hope so. Reactions, ideas, and tips are welcome!

I dragged him up step by step, every step a dull thud. The stairs seemed endless. The train almost gone.
Until it suddenly happened on its own. At the top, I understood why: you had lifted the bottom of my suitcase for a moment.
Long dark hair disappeared into the crowd again.
You nodded, as if it were nothing. I stammered a thank you and lost my train of thought for a moment.

Sometimes lives cross paths for just a moment. On the train. On an escalator. At a concert. You exchange a glance, a few words, a small gesture. And then someone disappears back into the city. With Seen?, we give such moments a second chance. For those who still want to say something to that other person. Or are simply curious about what happened next. Shall we search together?

History is my company Danielle Lemaire at Museum W
Entering the artist’s studio is a privilege. Danielle Lemaire was particularly generous to us. She showed us not only her private home and beautiful garden, but also her studio. There, she displays the extensive work she created in the run-up to her exhibition at Museum W in Weert: History is my company. A studio full of glimpses into the past: Indonesian scientific studies, botany and missionary history, the mystery of ancestors, ancient creatures such as crocodiles, fantastic snakes, and in-depth materials research. Together, this forms a refined, spiritual exploration of the past and nature. Her work takes you beyond rational understanding and allows you to step into her mysterious, kaleidoscopic world with an almost cathartic effect .

have to give all those people a face, a life.’ This is how Danielle Lemaire articulates her mission. From new perspectives and with stories that have not been told before, she seeks ways to approach a charged colonial past and reconnect with it.
People often view art purely aesthetically. In your work, you make the invisible visible: spirits, energy, and ‘rasa.’
Creating a work that is not only beautiful to look at but also communicates (life) energy requires a great deal of focus and concentration. To achieve this, you must create the right conditions and adopt the right working attitude. This is an attitude in which you are aware of yourself and your surroundings in a flexible and open manner. You cannot force or plan this attitude; it is rather a state of being that revolves around the right moment and is very grounded. The greatest challenge is creating space in which the best ingredients come together: a sharp eye, an inspired idea, good material, and inner balance. The realization that you are part of an immeasurable space, the cosmos, always plays an active role. To move within that space, you essentially only need to stay close to yourself and listen and look openly. To remain clear. It is as if you are opening an extra hatch in your mind through which energy can flow, or where the voices of ancestors, for example, can resonate. That can also be confronting. By taking the time to draw or paint, you can get closer to a core that you might not immediately see on the surface of the work, but which is certainly present within it.
In the Indonesian tradition, many objects, such as the kris or wayang puppets, are believed to possess a life force of their own. Is this reflected in the materials you use?
I work as much as possible with sustainable and natural materials of high quality: strong handmade Arches paper, linen, and good pencils. Plants such as ferns and betel leaves, wood, wool, or cotton can also reappear in the work. The way you handle the material partly determines the character of the work. The way of working is loving, almost as if you are caring for a living being.
You sometimes talk to a painting or drawing, but above all, you let it emerge at its own pace. That is very important. Do not rush or force it, even though the world demands a lot from you as a participant in society. You care for it like a flower. Then it will become beautiful. Gently lay down the work, wrap it well against the cold, protect it. Sacred nature. Qi. The source of everything, also in life and action. It is an organic way of working, in which time plays an important role. The work develops on its own merits, just as a tree or plant grows. That gives it a sustainable and almost healing character.
Mountains, seas, and forests are often considered living beings. Does your art serve as a bridge to communicate with these spirits of the land?
My art serves life and the power of life. With my way of life as an artist, I am ‘on’. It is a way of life that can also have a healing effect on the totality of things. Through my work, I want to emphasize the importance of our connection with the earth. The better that connection, the greater the awareness that the earth, just like us, is a living being and belongs to us all. For me, creating art is a way of giving thanks.
Is it possible to keep your relationship with nature alive in a modern city like Eindhoven?
Certainly! I am fortunate to live on the outskirts of Eindhoven, close to the Zeggen, the Wasven, and the Karpendonkse Plassen. And I have a garden. I am always connected to nature. Inside the house, there are plants that I have had for years and that keep growing. They are true companions. I also often bring dried bundles of branches and leaves to my studio, simply for company, so that I don’t have to make that separation. They often reappear in my work. In Eindhoven, it is entirely possible to keep the relationship with nature alive. There are truly beautiful areas, such as the Heezerheide, and I get the impression that many people treat them with love. For me, it is a continuous interplay that is almost taken for granted.
How does the spiritual or philosophical dimension permeate daily practice?
It is the source of everything in daily life. Art is my daily life. It means being consciously present in your surroundings and with the living beings on your path: people, animals, plants, trees. Having respect for others, but first and foremost for yourself. Then you can stand amongst everything like a strong tree. In essence, it is simple, but you do have to do it and be consistent.
How do you maintain the integrity of your spiritual message in a world where artworks are treated as financial assets?
By asking the work what it wants, and not the other way around. I do not use my work as a soulless mass-produced product, but as something that can transmit life energy. That usually finds its own way. If you regard your work as a friend or fellow being, a loving relationship first arises between creator and work. A work is unique and often arises from struggle and doubt. People who buy my work are touched by it first and foremost! What touches them, they want to have with them, at home or in the office. That is something truly sustainable.
Can you live off your art?
Yes, I can live off my art.
Finally, what do you think of this statement by Lenora Carrington: ‘There are things that cannot be said. That is why we have art.’ I love her work very much! And that is entirely true.
How much longer is feminism needed?
In this edition of Eindless, the Youth Editorial Team has started working for the first time; in June, they will take over completely. I will then also be allowed to surrender my platform to young people.
Through the Professional Workshop on Social Impact, I met two young ladies, Sena and Joana. Upon meeting them, it turned out that the theme they wanted to write about was feminism. A big smile immediately appeared on my face. Nice to meet you, fellow feminists! As two young women, they spoke enthusiastically about their outlook on life, the obstacles they face, and where they would still like to see change. It is fantastic, of course, that the younger generation is also becoming co-owners of an equal society for women and is willing to commit to it. It is very valuable to see that having the freedom to speak out is a matter of course for them.
Yet, my enthusiasm gave way to some pessimism quite quickly after our conversation. How is it possible that this battle has not yet been won? How is it possible that after so many generations, even 19-year-old girls have to worry about how they, as women, are getting their rights? In fact, currently, they must be extra vigilant to ensure that the women’s rights previously fought for are not taken away.
If you look at the history of feminism, it seems as if so much has already been won. At the beginning of the twentieth century, women in the Netherlands fought for the right to vote. That right was granted. Other milestones followed later. Women gained greater access to education and work, it became possible to open a bank account without a man’s permission, and laws changed, making men and women more legally equal. With the emphasis on legal, not cultural. And even though that legal basis is somewhat entrenched, we read headlines almost daily in which inequality manifests itself and how subtly and viciously it is expressed. Zoë Papaikonomou writes extensively about this; highly recommended as an eye-opener.
Back to Joana and Sena. Every generation of feminists before them pushed the door open a little further, and thus feminism became a broader movement in which women claim their voices in politics, culture, and work. The problems Joan and Sena face are different than before. A whole online world has now emerged that poses a serious and sometimes literal threat to women. How do you ensure you become resilient against this and gain influence over it, so that not too much is destroyed? That is perhaps the greatest challenge of our time: not only to keep moving forward, but also to protect what has already been achieved.
Nonetheless, I am hopeful. Young people are discussing consent, gender roles, representation, and mental freedom. They are asking questions that were less often asked out loud in the past. And that is exactly where change begins: asking questions and engaging in dialogue with one another. Perhaps that is why feminism is not a struggle with a clear endpoint. Rather, it is a conversation that every generation must have anew. About power, opportunities, freedom, and respect. Because as long as young people continue to speak out, the door remains open for progress. Perhaps not in one big leap, but in small steps. And sometimes such a step simply starts with two nineteen-year-old ladies saying: ‘this can be done better!’

Highlights in the programming of the new classical season include the arrival of world-renowned ensembles such as the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and an exclusive Benelux tour by the Bamberger Symphony Orchestra featuring top violinist Midori. Vocal music enthusiasts can also look forward to a special moment with the performance of Bach’s Mass in B minor by Collegium Vocale Gent under the direction of Philippe Herreweghe.
Familiar and surprising
Director Jack Pisters emphasizes the importance of the experience that precedes the first note, where the collective dedication of musicians and staff makes every concert a unique experience. Regarding the quality and ambition of the upcoming classical programme, he says: ‘We are proud of our stage and the quality that resonates here. We constantly seek the balance between familiar and surprising.’ He invites the audience to allow themselves to be surprised and moved once again in the new season by everything that will be heard in Eindhoven.
Inexhaustible wealth
For Jeroen Smits, Head of Classical Music, this season holds extra special significance because it is the final series he has programmed for Muziekgebouw Eindhoven after 22 years of service. He therefore regards the diverse programme as a personal gift: ‘Every season, it is a privilege to be able to draw from the inexhaustible wealth of classical music. That I may conclude this with such a rich and diverse lineup feels like a gift’. Moreover, Smits calls it a wonderful season for piano lovers, thanks to names like Boris Giltburg, Mitsuko Uchida, and Lucas & Arthur Jussen, as well as the three Steinway concert grand pianos acquired in 2025.
Series
In addition to the major orchestras and soloists, the season offers space for innovative series such as Scherpdenkers, in which lectures by Geert Mak and Joke J. Hermsen, among others, are combined with music.
The top musicians of tomorrow are given a platform in the International Prize Winners series, such as the Dutch pianist Nikola Meeuwsen, who won the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2025.
Ticket sales for the new classical season officially start on 4th April at 10:00 am, with visitors booking complete concert series able to benefit from discounts of up to 25%.

‘We are proud of our stage and the quality that resonates here’
April is dedicated to the Month of Philosophy. Throughout the Netherlands and Flanders, lectures, debates, festivals, and philosophical evenings are organized around one central theme. In 2026, that theme is ‘ Know ourselves’.
What does it mean to know yourself in an age of social media, algorithms, and divergent truths? How do we relate to one another in a society where everyone brings their own perspective? The Month of Philosophy invites you to reflect on these questions not only in theory, but especially in conversation with others. It is an invitation to be curious, to ask questions, and to look at yourself and the world with a fresh perspective.
The Eindhoven Region Library has long been committed to philosophy and reflection. Throughout the year, the library offers space for philosophical inspiration via books, lectures, dialogue meetings, and workshops. The Month of Philosophy aligns perfectly with this and provides an extra opportunity to reflect on who we are, how we live together, and what connects us.
Philosophy is not just for thinkers or academics; it is for anyone who is curious, dares to ask questions, and wants to engage in conversation. In the library, there is space to think together, discover, and deepen your own perspective on the world.

Groen Café: Eva Meijer on Muizenleven
Eva Meijer talks about her book Muizenleven, in which she describes her experiences with four former laboratory mice. By observing them and living with them, Meijer shows that mice are complex, social creatures with character, relationships, and grief, very different from the image of ‘pest’ that often prevails. Meijer combines animal philosophy and personal stories, in which the mice themselves speak through texts, photos, and drawings. It invites a different perspective on animals, living together, and our place in a more-than-human world. She won the Nature Book Prize in 2025 with Muizenleven. The Groen Café is a meeting place where speakers and the audience engage in conversation about nature, sustainability & society, with space for dialogue & meeting afterwards.

Interview with Roxane van Iperen ‘I See What I Believe’
During the Month of Philosophy, writer and thinker Roxane van Iperen will discuss her essay ‘I See What I Believe’. In it, she examines how our view of the world has become increasingly personal and individualistic. Through screens and algorithms, we often live in separate digital worlds, each in their own reality. But what does this mean for identity, truth, and community? Together with philosopher Ingeborg van den Bold, she explores the possibilities of a new ‘we’. The conversation is thoughtprovoking, personal, and accessible, inviting you to question yourself and each other anew. For anyone curious about the philosophy behind our daily lives, social media, and digital society, this promises to be an inspiring evening where thinking and meeting come together. A collaboration between Bookstore Van Piere, the Academic Society of Eindhoven, and the Eindhoven Library.

Vincent van Gogh created over a quarter of his oeuvre in Nuenen, just 3 kilometers from Eindhoven. Many natural spots and areas in the village itself have barely changed since the painter lived here. This means you can literally follow Vincent’s footsteps! For instance, you can join one of the guided Van Gogh walks every weekend: Nature walk (3.5 km): every FRI at 2:00 PM Village walk (1.5 km): every SAT and SUN at 3:00 PM
Want to join? Purchase a ticket via vgvn.nl or at the Van Gogh Village Museum. Of course, you can also explore the region on your own, for example using the cycling and walking routes from the booklet ‘Op pad met Vincent’. The booklet is also available at the museum.

Mylagro
Mylagro:
Headspace is an exhibition organized by Job Seijkens, a student of Personal Learning Route A6, Media Design at SintLucas. The goal of the exhibition is to bring people together. To showcase the work of young people both inside and outside SintLucas.
Mylagro is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a grand jubilee show. Around 150 dance and musical students will shine on stage. The show is set in a digitized era where everything is only allowed digitally. Only gaming, computers, and digital music are permitted. But a rebellious group takes action to oppose total digitization!
What if you grow up without school, screens, or the hustle and bustle of the city? In Captain Fantastic, a family lives deep in the woods, where making music, reading, and surviving in nature take center stage. But when they are forced to return to civilization, they discover just how different life is there. An adventurous and quirky family show about raising children outside the box and finding your place in the world.
Total Sale THe Horde
What starts as a perfectly normal evening in a supermarket turns into a thrilling battle between humans and boundarycrossing groceries. The products on the shelves come to life! They want to be bought so badly that they become pushy and pounce on customers. Will the customers and staff manage to get out in one piece? This is a performance that is not only thrilling but also hugely funny. Family show.

Can I Hug All These Flowers ?
Onomatopee presents the first duo exhibition by Ala Younis and Ali Eyal: Can I Hug All These Flowers? In this exhibition, the artists explore what history leaves behind―from fragments and memories to complex, interwoven stories. Through works that bring together personal and collective experiences, they reflect on how families, museums, and ideologies change and sometimes fall apart over time. The exhibition also looks at the traces of politically charged events in the Arab world, showing how art can make room for new forms of connection and solidarity.
Opening hours: Every FRI, SAT, SUN between 12:00 - 17:00

Free admission during the museum weekend
Saturday 11 & Sunday 12 April
On these days, Museum W opens its doors for a special museum weekend, during which everyone can visit Museum W for free. The museum weekend offers a great opportunity to discover Weert as a cultural destination. Visit a stimulating museum without having to pay an entrance fee. Feast your eyes on the halls filled with surprising colors and atmospheres, and let yourself be inspired, amazed, confused, and wondered about by the stories of Museum W this weekend.
Exhibition History is My Company
From April 12 to September 20
Her Indonesian background runs like a common thread through Danielle Lemaire’s work. References to Indonesia and the Dutch East Indies appear in her figurative, magical, and often surreal drawings and paintings. Nature and spirituality play an important role in this. Colonial history and the complex relationship between Indonesia and the Netherlands are also reflected in her work.
Exhibition, Chris Rijksmuseum
On view until September 20, 2026
The permanent collection presentation of Museum W has been supplemented with ceramic objects by visual artist Chris Rijk. Rijk combines the tradition of Delft Blue pottery with a contemporary and often provocative visual language. His oeuvre consists of vases, plates, dishes, and other ceramic functional objects. In these artworks, Rijk incorporates themes intertwined with queer identity, popular culture, power relations, and eroticism.

THE IRRITATIONS REGARDING THE OLD
We need to spread awareness about this behaviour. IT CAN’T GO ON LIKE THIS ANY LONGER!!
“They think they’re wiser, but still accidentally take screenshots on their phone when they want to turn Amber
“My grandma keeps sending me Facebook reels that are Al and then trying to make me believe it’s real.”
“Accidentally posting a selfie on the toilet on Insta-story.”traumatized Sil
“They think they have more rights than us.” - Willie “They’re taking our homes!”
Well, Eindhoven is of course known for being a trendsetter. We want to keep it that way a bit. So, the next time you go shopping in, for example, a dusty thrift store, you should look out for certain pieces of clothing. Because I’ve gained some knowledge and can promise you that these garments are going to make a huge comeback. Oh yeah, and it’s all gender-neutral!
From April, the poppies will be visible again in Genneper Parken

Valerie van Beek
Media designer, autonomous creator, connector and student
It used to be so clear: you went to school and became a graphic designer, a communications consultant, or a copywriter. Students entering ‘real life’ now need to be able to play with loose frameworks. Ideally, they would step into real life even earlier. Step by step, or with big leaps... Valerie is someone who jumps right into everything. Open and curious, she ventures outside the school walls and profiles herself as a young creator. In addition, she is also a student.
Valerie van Beek is 20 years old and a fourth-year student in the personal learning route Ä6 (Media Design/Sint Lucas). She prefers to always be busy, making music, working autonomously in oil paint, designing, developing her own clothing brand... ‘Just being creative,’ she calls it. Lately, her focus has been on organizing an exhibition. Born from the desire to give other young creators a platform.
Youth Matters
Young Matters started as her own clothing brand, but when she unexpectedly secured a spot at the Spoorpark in Tilburg, it became much more. Valerie organized and curated her own exhibition last March: ‘See what matters’. The premise: everyone is welcome! ‘I didn’t quite pick them off the street,’ she says. Ultimately, eight creators from all kinds of different educational backgrounds showcased their work. This platform gave them the chance to show what is important to them: ‘What message do they want to convey to the viewer?’
The complete freedom granted to them was certainly visible and palpable during the exhibition!
Valerie starts at Sint Joost in Breda after the summer, so she will continue her studies for a while longer. Fortunately, we don’t have to wait until she finishes her studies before we run into her again!

Burst your Bubble
The jury had a tough job. Amol, Naima, Linda, Jeroen, and Els listened their way through all the plans. Eventually, they selected a top 6. After that, the audience got to vote. I always find that the most pleasing part. That is when you see where the energy in the room is heading.
These are the three ideas that received the most votes:
1 VIPLab
Peter Meulenman & Gerard Kwak
A meeting and maker space for people with a visual impairment. Not something conceived for them, but together with them. A place where technology and experiential knowledge meet. In a region known for innovation, this feels very logical. If we are so good at technology, let us design it from different perspectives.
An offering for primary schools in which children are given more say. More connection. Less filling in the blanks for them, more space to explore for themselves. In a city that is changing so rapidly, with increasingly diverse backgrounds in one classroom, that is no luxury. Here, children learn how to live together. That starts early.
3 Between Strangers: Eindhoven
Carine Visagie
A podcast where people really speak to each other, not for the cameras. Just two people meeting and listening. In a city with more than 170 nationalities, that is perhaps the simplest and at the same time most powerful step. Hearing each other.
In early February, we held the Burst your Bubble Pitch Night. Nineteen people stood in the centre of the circle with an idea for a more inclusive Eindhoven. Nineteen. That is quite a lot when you look them all in the eye and feel: this isn’t just any plan; this is something someone genuinely cares about. It wasn’t ‘slick’: no ‘sleek event’ with a presenter hyping things up. Just people standing up and sharing what they want to contribute to this city.
Sometimes a bit nervous. Sometimes super clear. Sometimes still searching and that is exactly what made it good.
What is great about these evenings is that they are self-organizing. We set up a clear structure. After that, it is up to the people. Someone regularly asks: ‘Who is actually organizing this?’ That remains a fun question. The answer is: we do, together. And in these times, that feels more important than ever. Eindhoven and the region are growing rapidly. The leap in scale is visible everywhere. New homes, new companies, international professional workers making their home here. Brainport is running at full speed. That is fantastic. But it also requires something. Growth means that more people need to find their place. That old and new meet. That differences become more visible. Inclusive living together does not happen by itself. It requires practice. Meeting. Sometimes discomfort, too. Evenings like these are a small but concrete example of that. People take the initiative. They don’t wait for policy to regulate things. They just start.
The three winners each receive €5,000 to take their idea further. That helps. But perhaps even more importantly they feel that the city stands behind them. That people voted. That there is trust. The other sixteen ideas? They won’t disappear. They live on in conversations, in new contacts, in plans that resurface later.
Eindhoven is known for technology and design. Rightly so. But our true strength lies in something else. In the ability to create a space where people meet and say: ‘I have an idea, who wants to join me?’
This Pitch Night was not a grand spectacle. It was a special evening where people stood up for their city and that is perhaps the most important pitch of all.
‘What happened when Eindhoven briefly became one big circle?’
Burst your Bubble is a Jump Movement Foundation scheme developed by Ineke Hurkmans. Eindless is an Uit in Eindhoven Foundation publication. Together they let you look at the city and its inhabitants in a new way, so that you yourself see opportunities to learn more, make contacts and contribute to an inclusive city where everyone is welcome.

Going with the flow
‘If only we were still young!’ my rowing friends and I often exclaim as we step out of our rowing boat, creaking and groaning. I regret so much that I didn’t start rowing earlier, for example during my student days. Then maybe it would have amounted to something.
I also sometimes let my imagination run wild about what I would do right now if I had just received my high school diploma. I think I would head out into the wide world first and only then start thinking about what I was going to study. Would it be English after all? I have no idea.
As with many things in a young life, my environment played an important role in my choices. My mother really wanted me to go to university, and my English teacher thought it would be a terrible waste if I didn’t do something with English. Nevertheless, I chose law. When I regretted that after just two months, I left for England (going on a bit of a trip) to work there, or rather to be exploited, as an au pair. I had a wonderful time there, and indeed, upon returning to the Netherlands, I ended up studying English Language and Literature after all.
Passing exams, having fun, and earning a bit of money; I don’t think I had many worries back then. You simply got a scholarship; you didn’t have to borrow money. What a luxury! Was I very much preoccupied with the world? My little world was mostly pleasant and manageable. I could happily daydream, had fun jobs, fell in love, and went out, always with the safety of home as a foundation. Looking back, I grew up in a stable family where there were no financial problems, but plenty of warmth and attention. The unusual thing, however, was that it was a single-parent family.
Divorces were hardly a thing back then. Still, I found growing up without a father normal. I only became aware much later that it hadn’t been easy for my mother. That, in hindsight, I had actually suffered from it as a child, only became clear to me later. In my younger years, ‘mental health’ wasn’t really a topic yet.
It doesn’t seem easy to be young right now. It is the rule rather than the exception that parents are no longer together, and for many young people, it is quite normal to have to split themselves in two or more for birthdays or holidays. And then you just have to hope that your parents treat each other normally.
Major global problems also come in unfiltered: economic uncertainty, wars, the threat of climate change. You must go with the flow. There is so much pressure to perform... you must be successful, and beautiful, and smart, and there are so many groups; where do you belong? And your identity. Being online sometimes seems more important than being offline. So much happens via screens; what is real and what isn’t?
All those impressions, at such speed, even young people can barely keep up the pace. Mental health problems, as well as waiting lists for appropriate help, are endless. I think it is quite something for this generation.
Do I sound like an old fogey when I say: ‘I’m glad I’m not young right now’?‘

HEALTHY BANANA BREAD
This recipe is for athletes who want to watch their diet, for those who don’t want a sugar crash, or for anyone just in the mood for a tasty snack! The recipe is very easy to adapt to make it work for you. For example, if you are following a specific diet or want to make it even tastier, it’s your party! You can be as creative as you like. The most important thing is that you enjoy it.
STEP 1
Put your 2 bananas in a bowl and mash them with a fork until you have a smooth, lump-free puree.
This recipe is very easy to make vegan by replacing the quark and egg with soy yogurt and the honey with agave syrup!
STEP 5
STEP 2
Add your vanilla extract, honey, egg, and quark, and mix into a smooth batter.
STEP 3
In another bowl, mix your oatmeal, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt together. Add the dry ingredients little by little to the batter until everything is incorporated.
STEP 4
Cut your chocolate into small pieces and fold it into the batter.
Pour the batter into a suitable cake pan lined with baking paper so that the batter does not stick to it. Place it in the oven or air fryer at 160°C for 20 to 25 minutes. You will know your banana bread is ready when a wooden skewer comes out dry. Let it cool completely and enjoy!
