How kind of him! Hey, I could help you with a mood board. You can collect all your ideas before you go shopping. Do you know what you want? Great idea! I would like to get a loft bed so I can put a sofa under it. That way there will still be room to put a games console opposite the sofa. I’m not sure about the colours. The walls are still white, but I definitely want a huge sticker of a break-dance artist on the wall. Maybe I could go for a colourful rug between the bed and the television?

Lennox Brinks, 18, has over 355,000 followers on the platform who can't get enough of her family's unusual living situation.

Lennox told DailyMail.com: 'About five years ago, my mom decided that she wanted to leave Michigan so we searched for land down here in Kentucky. Here she decided, instead of getting a big house, that we should downsize 10 and try to live in a more environmentally sustainable way.' Lennox' parents Keli and Ryan approached a local shed manufacturing business called Wildcat Barns. It then took about a year and a half to get the sheds all set up before 15 the Brinks moved in. 'We bought the houses, and then my dad insulated them and painted them', Lennox explained. Chairman Meow wiggled his furry bum, getting ready to pounce. Time seemed to stretch like a rubber band. Then it snapped. Charlie sprang into action. Because Charlie saw behind him that Chairman Meow had spotted him. He could feel the cat thudding across the floor towards him through the vibrations 30 in his spider-feet. 1

Charlie ran faster. Chairman Meow pounced high, stretching to get Charlie. He just missed. Charlie ran as fast as he could up to the top of the wall and on to the ceiling just above the wardrobe. He stood spider-still, upside 35 down, utterly terrified, as Meow prowled menacingly below him. Now this is as bad as it gets, thought Charlie. It can’t get any worse. It definitely has to get better from here. Charlie had still not learned his optimism/pessimism lesson. In two swift, lithe leaps, Chairman Meow sprang first on to the bed, 40 and then on to the top of the wardrobe. INTERVIEWER: Our readers are crazy about your skateboarding. Do you have any idea how many fans you have? HEAVEN: No, not really. Lots of teenagers follow me on social media. They like the videos of my tricks and combinations and give comments. INTERVIEWER: How did you start skateboarding? HEAVEN: I started when I was eight years old. My parents installed a ramp for my brother in our garden. He gave me one of his old skateboards and that’s when I fell in love with it. INTERVIEWER: You were the youngest girl ever in the X Games and now you have already won two gold medals. How much do you practise? HEAVEN: Normally I practise about two hours a day. You’re frustrated, and you would do anything to get your parents on board. Parents may think it’s too expensive, too dangerous, or that you wouldn’t have enough time for your schoolwork. You will want to have all this information ready when you talk to your parents. Figure out how much money it will cost. Find out how much it would cost you to play the sport. If you have to buy 25 equipment, look on second hand sites to see if you can buy something used. You can also ask friends who play the sport for hand-me-downs or advice. Figure out how to maintain your grades. Draw up a schedule for yourself about when you will be able to study and 30 do homework. This could make your parents worry less about letting you try a sport. 20

STEP 3: Talking to your parents

Tell your parents why you want to play the sport. Talk to your parents about why you want to play the sport. Make sure to express that you’re interested in the sport itself, and let them know that it’s an 35 interest you have been developing. Don’t say things like, ‘Well, all my friends are going to be on the team.’ Explain the positives. Talk to your parents about why playing the sport will benefit you. You can use personal arguments or you could explain the benefits of team 40 sports in building leadership skills and good physical health. Show your parents the plan. Tell your parents the best way you can participate in the sport, and give them any papers that you’ve picked up. Your parents will be impressed and it will make giving their permission much easier.
