Pieter Bergé is a professor of Musicology at the Catholic University of Leuven. He wrote a.o. books about the piano sonatas of Beethoven, the requiem of Mozart, the operas of Schönberg and the distinct behaviour of listeners in the concert hall. He is editor-in-chief of a periodical on classical music, and artistic director of a classical music festival in Leuven. Yule Hermans is a young illustrator who graduated from Sint Lucas Antwerp in 2018. She tells little stories with her illustrations. Yule illustrates from within and her images are filled with athmosphere, poetry and sometimes even a bit melancholy.
