A Message from the president Greetings! My name is Danielle Moore, and I am the President of the Association for Future Healthcare Administrators (AFHA) for the 2019-2020 school year. On behalf of the AFHA, I would like to welcome the new students to our MHA program, and welcome back our returning students. We are all here to lean on and push one another towards our goals; both personal and professional. The mission of AFHA is to create an environment that empowers future healthcare leaders by fostering relationships within the educational and healthcare communities that promote
opportunities for professional development, networking capabilities, public service, and the continued growth and enhancement of the MHA program at UIC. The Executive Board has worked hard all summer planning a number of events for the fall semester, and we cannot wait to show you what we have in store. Getting involved is the best way to build your lifelong network of fellow administrators, and we would like to thank you in advance for your involvement.
