OUR CAMPUS
THE GEORGE BUILDING The distinct architecture of the Albert and Mamie George Building is the face of our campus. This 57,000-sq.-ft facility houses our state-of-the-art computer labs, study area, ITV classrooms and general classrooms. You’ll also find the Digital Media Green Screen Room and 3D printer. You can get your Cougar Card and UH Sugar Land Parking permit in our Campus Support Services office and get tech-help with our great IT staff, both located in the George Building.

This 145,000-sq.-ft facility s home to general classrooms, the UH College of Nursing and its state-of-the-art simulation lab, the Biotechnology program and laboratory space, and our UH Bookstore. Our auditorium and multipurpose rooms hold larger classes or serve as event space. Our Safety and Security office is located in Brazos Hall, as are our friends from Wharton County Junior College.

UNIVERSITY BRANCH LIBRARY Collaboration is value illustrated clearly in our full-service, campus library. The University Branch Library is a collaboration between the University of Houston System, Fort Bend County and Wharton Junior College. Faculty, students, staff and our community use the library resources. Academic liaisons are on staff and ready to help. Get your library card (in person or online). Reserve items and, of course, browse the collection.

CSM provides opportunities for students to receive a hands on experience in print, online and broadcast media. Programs and additional support for students who are interested in digital media are available.
The UH Health Center, located on the University of Houston main campus, offers primary care and medical specialty services to all currently enrolled UH students. Students attending classes at UH Sugar Land are eligible to receive services.
