Opening Doors: A New Chapter for Skills and Opportunity

Safal Uganda Baati Foundation Opens New Technical Institute in Tororo

The Safal Uganda Baati Foundation has opened the Safal Uganda Baati Technical Training Institute in Tororo, officially launched on 23rd March 2026. The centre aims to expand access to practical skills for young Ugandans, especially S6 leavers and youth seeking employable trades.

The Safal Uganda Baati Technical Training Institute in Tororo has officially opened its doors to learners as of 23rd March 2026 marking the beginning of a new pathway for young people to gain practical, lifechanging skills.

Located at Plot 78, Nagongera Road, Tororo, the institute offers market driven courses in Automotive Mechanics, Building & Construction, Fashion & Design, Cosmetology, and ICT & Entrepreneurship.

Training is deliberately affordable

With UGX 230,000 for a 1 year UVTAB/DIT certification (inclusive of materials) and UGX 330,000 for National Certificate Craft 1 & 2 (2 year programs).

Admission to the Tororo campus is free, making it one of the most accessible training opportunities in the region.

Beyond skills training, the institute aims to unlock livelihoods and strengthen communities by equipping young people with practical capabilities that can transform their futures.

Families, communities, and partners are encouraged to share this opportunity, identify potential learners, and support or sponsor beneficiaries where possible.

Safal Circles- Women of Steel Platform

In March 2026, we took a deliberate step beyond the one day celebration of Women’s Day to focus on sustained impact, we officially launched the Safal Circles,- Uganda Baati Women of Steel, a platform dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering space for women within our organisation.

We officially relaunched the platform at our Head Office, an event graced by Hon. Amelia Kyambadde, Presidential Advisor on Trade, MP Elect and former Minister of Trade. During the relaunch, we unveiled a Governing Council to provide structure, drive accountability, and measure the impact of the platform.

Going forward, the platform will host structured sessions around; Career growth,Mentorship and coaching, Personal development and Self-care and wellbeing

Kamuli Show room officially open! 20 outlets now.

On Thursday 26th March, we officially opened yet another outlet, the Kamuli Showroom located in the Busoga region in Eastern Uganda, bringing quality building solutions closer to the community.
