Thank you for your interest in Eco International Travel’s educational tours. Eco International Travel aims enrichment of the students through safe and secure tours. By joning our tours, the students have opportunity to discover the world, exposure to new cultures, break cultural and geographical barriers between them and outer world, broaden their perspectives, and enhance their avenues of critical thinking and global awareness. Our itinearies for each tour reflects our diligence in providing safe, secure, enjoyable and comfortable learning environment for each participant. Safety and comfort are our first priorities. Our group leaders are on duty from very beginning to end of the tour. We contiuously follow the US government’s travel alerts and warnings. We are available 24 hours a day, through phone in order to help the tour participants, to provide information for the families, and to ensure safety, security, and of the tour participants and chaperons.

ACCO MODATION Safety, comfort, and cleanliness are the priorities in hotels of the Eco International Travel’s tours. The hotels usually have at least three-star qualities, and they are pre-inspected by our local contractors. Participants who paid their tour fees on time, are usally roomed in double accomodations. Room upgrades are available with additional fees, upon the request during the registration. Allmost all hotels in our tours have breakfast. Our tour does not include lunch and dinner, as the participants’ tastes and dietary restrictions can be diverse. The tour’s local transportation service takes the participants to the local restaurants or cafes at lunch and dinner time; and the participants can have lunch or dinner at their own selection.
CHAPERONS AND
COMMUNICATION Chaperons are responsible for every minute of the tour. They are always ready and be happy to help the participants. Chaperons contribute to the quality of the tours in various ways. They ensure safety and comfort of the students, and serve as bridge between the local contractors and the students. Chaperons also guide the students to maximize benefit of the experiental learning without compromising the enjoyment of the travel. Continuous communication with their childs is one of the most important concern of the parents. If the students face any communication problem, chaperons can help them to communicate with their parents. In educational tours, the schools have discretion to determine the chaperons by collaborating the Eco International Travel.
SAFETY Safety is one of our priorities. Our group leaders are on duty from very beginning to end of the tour. We observe the US government’s travel alerts and warnings and be ready to act accordingly. We are available 24 hours a day, through phone in order to help the tour participants, to provide information for the families, and to ensure safety, security, and comfort of the tour participants and chaperons.
TRAVEL INSURANCE Eco International Travel strongly recommend that the tour participants purchase travel
insurance to protect themselves and their
belongings. If a participant does not wish to
purchase travel insurance, he/she (or parent/
guardian) needs to sign “Travel Insurance
Waiver” form.
Eco International Travel web site provides

Squaremouth, an online travel insurance com-
pany that compares travel insurance products from major providers in the US . The traveller
can choose travel insurance products online,
from various options and offers. The travel
insurance may cover injury, accident, medical treatment, emergency care, evacuation, loss
or delay of luggage and personal efects, trip cancellation and interruption for various rea-
sons such as loss of family member or terrorist act, and others. The details of the cover-
age, and price informaiton can be obtained
at the insurance company’s web site acessible through the “Travel Insurance” buton on www.ecointravel.com .
PAYMENT Eco International Travel accepts personal checks, money order, wire transfer, debit and visa cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Participants may use credit/debit card for payment through the Eco International Travel’s web site at www.ecointravel.com
The participants can either pay in full
during the enrollment, or choose monthly payment plan. In case of the monthly payments, the installments are one third of the full payment except for the deposit. The installments are due 135, 105 and 75 days prior to the first scheduled flight in the tour.
CANCELLATION POLICY We make best effort to protect from the participants any penalty, when they cancel their tour registration. Unfortunately, cancellations can inevitably result in compensation claims from air carriers, hotels and other providers. In accordance with the business practices of the companies which Eco International Travel work with, Eco International Travel is obliged to charge fee for cancellations. The cancellation fee is $ 300 deposit if cancellation is made more than 135 days prior to the first scheduled flight of the tour; it is $ 1900 if the cancellation is made more than 45 days and less than 135 days prior to the first scheduled flight; and it is all tour fee if the cancellation is made less than 45 days prior to the first scheduled flight.
ENROLLMENT The enrollment for the educational tours is performed through the chaperons/group leaders, or the Eco International Travel agent. Enrollment deadline is 135 days prior to the departure of the first scheduled flight. Late enrollment is possible though, we cannot gurantee availability of space, and the same price (due to the increased air flight and hotel expenses) and we cannot guarantee to reserve a seat in the same flight with the rest of the group. We put the late enrollments on the waiting list and try our best to include them into the tour. If no space is available, we refund the payment minus the cancellation fees that may apply.
