International Student Support International Affairs
The International Affairs Office supports international students by assisting them with cultural transitions from the day of arrival and providing information for students to better access campus resources. The office also helps students to better understand academic courses, American classroom practices, and university policies. The International Affairs office works extensively with the Admissions office to provide students with immigration and visa information.
Multicultural Office for Students Access, Inclusiveness, and Community (MOSAIC) The MOSAIC office involves students of all backgrounds and builds an inclusive campus climate. MOSAIC staff members work directly with international student clubs to provide social support and arrange events to help international students succeed socially.
iBuddy Program iBuddy program helps international students to make friends with American students. Through cultural exchanges, fun activities on and off campus, and conversation table programs, International students will improve their English skills both academically and socially!

Not meeting our English language proficiency requirements? The Intensive English Program (IEP) is uniquely designed to meet the needs of students who have not met the university’s minimum English proficiency requirement. Upon the completion of our Intensive English Program, you automatically fulfill the university’s English proficiency requirement and will be eligible for full admission to UCCS. To learn more about our IEP program, please email international@uccs.edu.
UCCS has rolling admission (no set deadline) but please give yourself at least 90 days to apply to UCCS prior to starting classes. Please recognize that only admitted students can apply for scholarships. Applications are available December 1 - March 1. Leadership and Professional Development International students have extensive internship and practical training opportunities through our partnerships in technology, business/enterprise, health care, and other key growth areas. At UCCS, professional faculty work together to assist international students academically, professionally, and socially. Approximately 2,000 on-campus employment opportunities are available for UCCS students.
