BREAKTHROUGHS BEGIN AT LINDNER
The Carl H. Lindner College of Business stands at the intersection of innovation, experience and leadership.
For more than 115 years, the University of Cincinnati’s Lindner College of Business has been a catalyst for principled problem‑solvers who shape organizations, drive economic progress and lead through complexity in an evolving business landscape.
Across classrooms, co-op placements and industry partnerships, our students engage the challenges defining business today. They apply analytics to guide decision‑making, launch ventures that create value and lead teams through change. This work is amplified by our growing universal co op model, building on the University of Cincinnati’s distinction as the birthplace of cooperative education. By graduation, Lindner College of Business students are accomplished professionals with real‑world experience, strong networks and the confidence to lead.
Now, the Lindner College of Business is entering a breakthrough era defined by bold investment in people, access and excellence. This vision centers on three breakthrough priorities:
• Amplify faculty excellence by investing in applied expertise, interdisciplinary leadership and industry‑engaged scholarship that advances innovation and distinction.
• Expand access and advance student success through scholarships and support that remove barriers, strengthen pathways and deliver exceptional return on investment.
• Reimagine business education by scaling universal co op, experiential learning and global opportunities that prepare graduates to lead in a rapidly changing world.
With your partnership, the Lindner College of Business will continue to shape the future of business education, empowering principled problem‑solvers to lead what’s next.
The next chapter begins with you.

“The Kirk and Jacki Perry Professorship in Leadership has given me the time and resources to take a step back and think strategically about how we can channel our efforts to create the best opportunities for our students, and how to best serve the overarching goals of the university, our region and our city.”

AMPLIFY FACULTY EXCELLENCE
Fuel applied expertise, innovation and national distinction.
Faculty excellence is the foundation of our momentum at the Lindner College of Business. Strategic investment will elevate the people and ideas that drive student success, industry relevance and academic distinction, positioning us among the nation’s top public business schools.
Philanthropic priorities:
• Endowed chairs, professorships and fellowships to recruit and retain applied scholars and industry leaders in marketing, finance, AI/analytics, real estate, leadership and economics. These experts advance UC’s co op programming by fusing theory with real‑world application, strengthening our national reputation and delivering timely insight for students, employers and the broader business community.
• Strategic faculty growth to meet record enrollment demand and expand interdisciplinary expertise aligned with evolving market needs. Investment will support teaching excellence and faculty development that intentionally embeds experiential learning and career‑ready competencies across programs, while elevating scholarship and professional impact.
• Industry‑engaged leadership through professors of practice and executive directors who bring deep professional experience, active networks and partner insight into classrooms, centers and institutes. These roles strengthen employer collaboration, accelerate executive and professional education, and ensure the college’s programs remain relevant, adaptive and closely aligned with workforce and market needs.

“Scholarship support has played a pivotal role in my journey, allowing me to focus on my personal growth and leadership development instead of the financial stress of doing this all by myself. Coming from a single-parent household, that support empowered me to fully take advantage of everything the University of Cincinnati has to offer—academically, professionally and as a leader. Because of scholarships and the generosity of donors, I was able to graduate with confidence and the knowledge that I have been given every chance to succeed at UC and beyond.”

ADVANCE STUDENT SUCCESS
Remove barriers and accelerate return on investment.
The Lindner College of Business prepares students to graduate with experience, confidence and career clarity. Universal co‑op strengthens this promise by embedding professional learning into every career pathway. Philanthropic investment ensures that talent, not financial circumstance, determines who can fully benefit from the college’s high impact experiences.
Philanthropic priorities:
• Access scholarships that open doors for students with talent, grit and curiosity, regardless of financial background. Donor support expands opportunity for first‑generation students, veterans and those from underserved communities, ensuring the college can attract problem‑solvers whose perspectives strengthen classrooms, teams and the business community. These investments translate directly into higher retention, timely graduation and long‑term economic mobility.
• Merit scholarships that recruit and retain top academic performers and emerging campus leaders. Philanthropy enables UC to compete nationally for high‑achieving students who elevate academic rigor, peer learning and employer outcomes. Merit support helps retain students through graduation, strengthens our national profile and reinforces its strong return on investment ranking.
• Co‑op and experiential learning support that removes financial barriers related to housing, travel and cost of living. These funds ensure students can accept the most meaningful co‑op, project‑based, study‑away and global learning opportunities, even when experiences require relocation or extended time away from campus. Donor support transforms opportunity into access, allowing students to choose experiences based on learning value rather than cost.

“I never thought as a freshman coming to UC that I’d actually get to go abroad. During our travel in the United Kingdom, I recognized that a lot of the amazing preservation initiatives in the Cincinnati area use the same kind of practices that I got to see in Europe. I’m so thankful to have been given the opportunity and I think it made my experience at UC that much more memorable.”

REIMAGINE BUSINESS EDUCATION
Scale the nation’s leading co-op business model.
To become the No. 1 co‑op business school, the Lindner College of Business is advancing an experience‑based education model that integrates academic rigor with real‑world application. Philanthropic investment allows us to scale this model intentionally, ensuring that students graduate not only career ready but also adaptable, globally fluent and equipped to lead in an economy shaped by constant change.
Philanthropic priorities:
• Expanded co‑op opportunities within non profits, start ups and international organizations integrated across all undergraduate programs. Donor support enables UC to create and sustain co‑op placements in mission‑driven, emerging and global environments that often lack paid infrastructure. These experiences broaden career pathways, reinforce human‑centered leadership and ensure students can pursue high‑impact roles based on learning value rather than financial constraint.
• Global learning opportunities, including study abroad and study away, build cultural fluency and strategic perspective. Philanthropy expands access to immersive experiences that help students understand international markets, cross-cultural collaboration and ethical decision‑making. These investments ensure global competence is embedded within the Lindner College of Business experience, not limited to those who can self‑fund participation.
• Project based learning through our nine centers and institutes and interdisciplinary capstone experiences that connect students to real business challenges. Donor investment supports hands‑on projects where students partner with companies, nonprofits and community organizations to solve complex problems using data, strategy and innovation. These experiences and connections to industry embed theory, practice and reflection at the culmination of the academic journey, translating learning into measurable impact.
