What is AMWA?
American Medical Women’s Association is a national organization that focuses on women in healthcare from premeds to attending physicians
What is UF uAMWA?
UF uAMWA is University of Florida’s undergraduate chapter of the national organization Although we partner with them on some events, we have our own events here in person at least twice a month!
How do I get involved?
You can get involved by simply attending events. Applications are not required to come to events; however, membership is granted based on your attendance and involvement for the semester It is important to keep in mind that you need to be an active member in order to run for the uAMWA executive board
How do I stay an active member?
In order to maintain your status as a UF uAMWA active member, you must get 2 points from each section: Attendance, Events, and Awareness This means by the end of the semester, you should have at least 6 points total! See the points system recap below

An overview of essential academic and extracurricular requirements and how to prepare for applications

Description: Entry Fee: $3
Browse through a variety of beautiful blooms and design your very own custom bouquet to take home
Women in Pre-Health Mixer
Location: Opus at Norman
Time: 3:30 PM
Description: Welcome event for prospective members to meet other members and enjoy som coffee after class!
