The investigation also resulted

in the seizure of 1,360 lbs. of illicit cannabis. Police said a non-Indigenous criminal network is producing and manufacturing contraband tobacco on the territory. Between Jan. 20 and Jan. 26, 2026, eight people were charged with a total of 48 offences. No arrests have been announced in relation to last week’s police operation.
