The blue track reopened on Monday June 29 at 7 am with some significant upgrades, with enhanced lane markings to support a wider range of athletic activities, according to Parks and Recreation Director Cheryl Henhawk. Some work is yet to be done, with field line painting expected to occur in mid-July. The track is available to community members daily from dawn to dusk. “This new track belongs to the entire community,” said Henhawk. “We ask all users to take care of the facility and look out DURIC for one another so that it can be enjoyed for years to come.".
